Awesome Product

I recently bought this amp and it is the best in its class how could such little thing produce so much power. I had this amp hook up to one set of JBL GTO938 6x9 and one set of 6x1/2 in rear of JBL GTO628 it moves these very good very nice bass and tweet of them. This amp is very easy to install I have it in a 2008 Toyota Highlander Sport with non JBL System so far the best sound i have ever bought. Being a JBL user, I have never had any problems with them. Would really recommend this amp to anyone who want to step up their sound system in the car would not be disappointed. I GUARANTEED!!!

i have been using this amp for about 6 months and its never had any hardware problems and it runs my front 6-1/2s and rear 6 x 9s just fine. my one complaint is that on full power it gets real hot real quick but has never gone into protect mode

2010 F150

I have been running all 4 door speakers with this amp for 6 months now and all is well. The sound is great. Also using a JBL GT5-A3001 to power my sub.

Jbl amp review

Great for highs!!!! Everything is crystal clear, great amp!!! Have JBL 4" mids with tweets also. Great sounds.

Do not BUY!!!

This is my second amp. Both times one side of the amp would stop playing. I only had my amp 30%. My first amp lasted a few days this one lasted a couple months.

little amp with big heart

I'll tell you what, it was a 110 degrees out there, i just did a round trip to long beach, from Valencia, AC works but decided not to use it. When i am alone in my ride, My setting is always at concert levels. Inside the car it was 98 degrees hot i kept saying to myself this amp is going to seize, it never did. Its running one set of 6x8 infinity kappa comps. And a set 6x8 infinity kappa 2 ways. @ a 2 ohm load. This little amp is a champ, I was thinking of going for a bigger amp, thinking "bigger is better". Not anymore This amp handled great. will not trade it for anything else. Good job JBL

Good Amp especially for the money

I have had this amp pushing my Pioneer 6x9's and my 6.5's for about a year 1/2. I have had no problems with the amp.

alright amp

i installed this amp to run 2 6.5'' and a pair of tweeters on 4-ohms. It ran them good but one side of my amp stop playing only after a few days after installation. But stuff like this does happen sometimes. waiting on my replacement amp. I would still recommend this amp even though the complications. I wasn't able to run my amp full load the overload protection would kick in.

Nice Basic Amp

This is a good basic amp. I have a regular cab truck, so I only need to power 3 speakers - 2 6.5" Eclipse PointSource speakers in the doors, and 1 MTX Thunderform (93-97 Ranger Model) with a 10" MTX Subwoofer.

I used a 0.5F industrial capacitor (24V) inline with 4GA power cable. Speaker Wires are generic 10ga stuff. The RCA cable I used is both shielded and twisted-pair.

Overall sound is a bit harsh / tinny compared to what I used to use (a Rockford Fosgate Punch Power 4-ch from 1999), but the sound is good and the price was very right.

Awesome amp

I have this amp on 2 6.5 rockfords and 6x9 rockfords and it sound perfect it gives you Amazing highs and good mids. It keeps up with my 15" kicker solobaric L3

JBL Car Amplifier

JBL Car Amplifier was very nice bass and treble, Design is very nice.

Worth the money

It's the perfect mid.and highs amp great sound quilty n strong amp I'd buy another if ever needed to n give it 10 star rating but only 5 to give
