JBL GTO-804EZ

I have been putting a system together with " best bang for the buck" in mind. I am looking for quality sound at a good price. I have the JBL ms 62c 's in the front and JBL P662's in the rear. They were powered by the Rockford R 300.4( good reviews / cheap price) and though they sounded good just not great, so i took a chance and got the gto-804ez ......WOW! Blows the RF out the water . The "clean" power difference and the sound stage is spot on. You will hear every detail in your music with this combo.Even without a sub the bass is amazing . I am upgrading to the 1001ez amp and W12GTI sub. Sonic had these amps half off sale not too long ago , wish i jumped on it then but you can call them for better pricing . Hope this can help somebody thats trying to decide . This will fit your needs it's a beast!

Very Happy

Bought this amp almost a year ago, along with 4- 6x9 jbl 938, 2 in doors original speaker spot and 2 behind seats, this is in a regular cab pick up, amazing sound and bass, I listen to country and old rock and never heard it sound this good. Added jbl small sub and 200 watt amp (used) just to hear what it sounded like. unreal bass with no unwanted distortion just clean crisp high and lows. I'm back on now for my 2nd GTO-804ez for a 69 Fairlane I'm restoring. Can't wait to hear in a full size car.

Clean and Underrated!!!

I originally bought this amp and the GTO-751ez in order to replace my JL Audio 450/4v2 and 1000/1v2 because of the small footprint and limited space in my Nissan Frontier King Cab. I tried to fit my JL Audio amps, but they were just too much trouble to fit neatly. The JL Audio amps are awesome, but only if you can fit them and have the extra bankroll to buy them. I hadn't really looked into JBL amps previously on my other builds, but definitely wish I had. I have this amp powering 2 sets of JL Audio C5 components, one front set and one rear set. The amp definitely puts out some clean power and doesn't add any sound coloration. I did a bench test on it along with the 751ez and let me tell you, these amps are crazy underrated. This amp put out 95x4 rms at 4ohm at 13.8v!!! Definitely more than advertised. As a point of reference comparing it to previous amps I own/owned, I would say that this amp sounds just as clean and as loud as my Focal Solid 4. Similar build quality at a fraction of the cost. I would definitely recommend this amp.

BIG, LOUD, and HAPPY

I have 4'' speakers in front and 6.5'' in the back both JBL gto series. I was running the speakers through my car's stock amp and was pretty disappointed with the out put. After blowing the stock amp I through this bad boy in and all I can say is WOW. What a difference. Sound is fantastic boosted the bass X 2. The only problem I have had is using the automatic gain set lights. When I play the disc it doesn't give the correct signal and so the lights are worthless. However the gain nobs make manually setting the gain easy so don't worry about it.
