A +++++ amp beats JL 1000/1v2 by far!!!!!!!!!!!!

like the previous review on here, he has the Mk II's with this amp i was trying to get those but ended up with Kicker CVX 12's instead, i'm sure the mk II's sound better but none the less this amp is crazy gooood!!!!!
Keep your grounds solid and short and use a cap , i have one other amp with this one, but i don't have any power issues at all, my lights don't dim or anything, just look at the specs on this amp it has a signal to noise ratio of 109, that's extremely good, i'm a specs guys, this thing beats JL audio, alpine, memphis, kicker amps, jbl is the same company as infinity and also Harmon Kardon, your getting really nice stuff when you order JBL and its priced good also.

BEAST!!!

I have this amp hooked up to two JBL P1222's in a vented box and a 5 farad cap and its insane. Even with my cap my lights still dim tremendously when the bass hits because this thing pulls so much power. Before this amp i had a two channel 2600 watt power accounting amp and it quit for some odd reason so i decided to go solid with JBL and I'm proud i did cause i've broken my trunk latch, the grills on my back speakers, and i can flex windows. So if your looking for a true 2000 watt amp or probably more for a good price you cant go wrong with the GTO14001.

GTO14001

I have it hooked up to 1 Alpine Type-X 10" and with a deep cycle (35Ah) battery. It doesn't get hot at all, the voltage is stable, very good amp with good dynamics, it works great with my sub!

Speman

I have two of these amps and do comps around the area. I have them running to four jbl mkii 12's. Hits 170's all day long. Just really you need to use either monster wire or Rockford wire. I prefer monster seeing how they're hands down the best. Use zero gauge and ANL fuses. You know it has power when it has four 40 amp fuses on the back. I have four optima batteries and four 1 farad caps and everything in my 03 impala dims. Broke the trunk latch lol.

Amazing

This amp is amazing. Got it hooked up to 2 12w7 and you can hear me coming blocks away. I got a kinetic battery and my lights still dim as if i didn't even have it. I've owned over 6 amps in the last 2 years and this one out beats anything I've ever used. If your looking for allot of power and have the money, I highly recommend this amp.

JBL

First in response to previous reviews.. JBL International confirms this is a Class D amp not class A/B.. that is some debate.. this amp is under rated, and pushes a little bit more if you can keep your power stable at 14v.. its power hungry indeed.. do not use a cap, they are useless.. do the big 3 and upgrade your bat's.. It costs a pretty penny but you know what your getting and you know it will do what it says it will do..

JBL GTO 1400

IT IS A DAM GOOD AMP FOR A CLASS A/B. I GOT MINE OUT OFF THE BOX, IT WAS MOST POWERFUL ONE. I GOT IT HOOKED UP TO 2 Alpine - 12" Dual-Voice-Coil 4-Ohm Subwoofers that are 1500 peak and 500watt RMS EACH. SO AT 4 OHMS IT IS GETTING 1200 BUT MY AMP IS ON A LITTLE BELOW HALFWAY AND IT POUNDS THE SUBS ATLEAST 2 INCHES WHEN THEY BEAT. I WANT TO ADD ANOTHER SUB TO IT AND HAVE 3 12S BUT THE ALPINES ARE 4 OHMS AND THE JBL WILL NEED 1500rms TO RUN 3 ALPINES
HOPEFULLY IT PUSHES A LITTLE MORE THAN 1200 AT 4 OHMS BUT THEY ARE GREAT. I GOT A ALPINE DECK CDA-9886 IT GOES GREAT WITH THE ALPINE SPEAKERS DONT SKIP LIKE MY PANASONIC DID WHEN BUMPIN
