Good sound, decent response for smaller speakers!
Much like my front speakers, I had to install these with an adapter (2002 Subaru Impreza). I was amazed at the quality of sound to come out of these little guys! The tweeter somehow overpowers the front tweeters even though everything seems to even out at higher decibels. At first I got a lot of distortion and what sounded like the speaker colliding with the grille in the door at higher volume levels. However when I replaced the amplifier (Crunch P1 5000.5) all that disappeared. I forgot how good music sounded with a decent amplifier. I am SO happy with these.

Great product
Great product. The 1st set of jbl's I've ever bought. Good for the price. Replaced stock speaker out of 95 bonneville. Much better. I would say these work in shallow installs, the info didn't say it was or not. I believe the measurements for depth was 2 38/". 3 different options for tweeter installs.
