This setup is a beast. I have these matched with a Pioneer amp to just a touch above rated RMS. Talk about loud. I have the Rockford P3-12's with the Rockford 1200 amp bassin' it out. The highs and mids are clear and loud. One can still understand the lyrics and hear the symbols. Great product . I think my son is trying to kill them and just can't seem to pull it off.

These got outperformed by my 6.5 sony coaxials I was upgrading from. The woofer handles midbass well. The tweeter was terrible and small. It matched the sensitivity but distorted at lower volumes than the 6.5 . The crossover didnt help and I even used a bass blocker which also didnt help. Since the tweeter was bad there was no other way to properly play upper mids and highs.

Great Deal

Currently have JBL Club speakers in other locations in my Jeep Wrangler. Found a great deal here on these GTO components. Excited to get them installed in the dash. Plan to connect everything to a JL Audio JD 400/4 amp from this website. Thanks for the help so far answering my questions.

Passive x over

They fit great, the x over fits perfectly under the factory door covering, as if it never was there. They sound great as well, even with the oem radio.
