Smooth

After trying 2 other brands at higher cost, I decided to give these a try. The JBL 6428 is the best sounding by a pretty wide margin. The others were fatiguing on the mid and highs, especially at high volume, and had absolutely no bass response These stay smooth and detailed at high volume. And have some bass, not a lot, but it's there. Quite a bargain...

Really stops the rattling that comes from having the punch from the kiker speakers i have installed in the doors of my car.

Easy to use and apply

I used this product in my rear component speakers (Alpines) for the mid-range woofers in the doors to shield against vibration and they do a good job and the speakers sound great for it!

These came in a package deal from Sonic
with JBL GTO series speakers one of the decisions why I bought the GTO speakers, easy to use. Currently installing the sound system but having used similar products before these will make a good speaker sound better.

sounds great

put these in the front of 1994 chevy silverado and they sound great. I put a crossover on mine and cut out the bass because I put a sub in. These things sound wonderful to add to my front sound stage. I also have 6.5" components in the kick panels.

I bought this in a combo package that Sonic put together with a set of hifonics components, the zxi65c. i liked it, i havent heard any rattling from my speakers. works well, i recommend it.

Sounds Great!

I installed the Dead Shield Sound Dampening Material under all 4 of the speakers I replaced in my truck and the stereo system sounds great, better than I expected.

Great speakers for the size

This is the only size that would fit in my air conditioned John Deer tractor. I tied them into the alpine unit and sound good above the noise of the big diesel tractor when I'm out cutting and bailing hay in the fields. Life is much better on a farm!

Went with my gut, worked out well.

Needed new 4x6"s in the back of a 2010 regular cab GMC. Loved the JBL's on my boat, figured with all the choices, better stick with a brand I know. Very happy, sound much improved over what was there.

Quality product and great price

Awesome sound. Well built quality product. Purchased the 4x6 speakers for my1972 Corvette.

Price doesn't match high quality sound.

When I received the JBL speakers I thought that they would be good, but they were amazing. They were better than the Memphis speakers I have in another truck. The Memphis speakers were over double the price I paid for the JBL's. It was a great buy for me.

Ok. not the best kit.

I bundled this kit with a powerbass amp that is awesome. A couple of things I didn't like about the kit is the eyelet connectors are flimsy and the speaker wire is hard to separate. When it does it exposes some of the copper.
