Stage up front

great JBL's that i put up front in the dash and hooked them up to the regular output of my head unit and it really helps bring up some mids & highs.

There was a noticeable change when I didn't and had them in, very nice and loud, I also have tweeter bass blockers on them so no bass gets through, thank you sonic

Great product

Phenomenal speaker sound quality is great. I have these speakers connected to a four channel amp and the sound quality is amazing great bang for your buck for sure.

Great sound upgrade!

I only needed 1 of them for a dash upgrade. It was a huge addition for my sound. Attached it to the factory power and it still sounded so much better than the factory speaker. If proper power is used this little speaker will outperform larger speakers.

Review for Prowler Installation

The speakers are definitely an improvement from the factory originals (which aren't available anymore). They have a crisper highs and good mid range. I used them to replace the originals installed in the rear speaker box. The JBLs are a very tight fit, and had to be soldered in as there was no room for crimped connectors. Also the diameter of the speaker was just large enough that the wire connector had to be slightly folded up to get the speaker to fit in the existing mounting frame. Overall great sound, slight modification to install, but relatively painless.

These fit my Yukon pillars perfect and are 2 ohm so went well with my 2 ohm bose amp.

Good upgrade

Replaced my dash speakers in my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 with these, as well as 5.25s in the rear doors. This was my first time using JBL speakers, and I am very impressed. At first, they didn’t seem much better than the originals, but after a week or so or break in these things come alive! You wouldn’t think such a small speaker could create this much sound. Would purchase again without a doubt.

I just installed these got them on sell.in Dec 2015. first use Nov 2016. go figure. my car is a 1988 Olds Delta. I have decent dash speakers but one was going in and out.I installed these with a 220 bass block.outstanding sound.and they keep up with my 6x9,s I no longer have to fade forward just to hear some front sound. I debated using the bass blocks.but after hearing the difference. I see why they help. I have a clearer sound and the bass coming from the rear deck fills the car with clean bass with no muddiness.these have a great up front stereo image .very nice detailed speakers

Great sound for the price

I got this product for an upgrade for my 3.5 in my 2011 charger and boy I tell you wow. I say if you are look for some great 3.5 for your charger or challenger these are the ones for you. Easy install loud as ever for 2 ohm for ome upgrade, I promise you will not be disappointed with this product, take my word this is the real deal.
