Great Sound

Very clear crisp sound. Great bass response with just head unit power. Easy to install.

Installed in a cooler

I installed these in a cooler for floating down the river...turned out great! They sound awesome and put out a lot of clean sound. I have had three people want me to build them coolers and I am using these same speakers in those coolers. I am pushing them with the JBL 2-channel marine amp and an iPod.

The Best by far

They sound awesome. Very small mounting depth. The sound I got is very simular to the 6x9 i used to have. Very clean with plenty of bass.

JBL Marine MS6200

great sound, very articulate, reacts really well to eq, punchy, clear, and bright.

Great sound and great value.

I installed the JBL MS6200 speakers about 6 months ago. They have proven to be a reliable speaker with great sound. So far they have held up to the salt environment very well. With 4 MS6200s I can run 40mph with a loud older 2 stroke outboard and hear the music loud and clear. When compared to Fusion, JL, or any of the other top rated brands I would recommend the JBL for value alone.

Great sound!!!

Installed them in a cooler for the river, and they rocked!! Had the cans on the cooler dancing. Very clear and crisp. Surprised everyone on the river how good they sounded.

Awesome speakers. I love them. Running off a hu and they sound better than a lot of amped systems on the water. JBL makes great stuff

Great Speakers !

When I switched these for the stock speakers in my boat, I was amazed, the old speakers were good, but these just lightened my music that much more, and so far this summer, they've proved themselves to be tuff on the weather we've been getting ! taking into consideration i'm only feeding them 18 rms from the stock deck, they shine !

Good value, excellent sound

I chose these speakers based on the range specifications and price compared to other units. Very happy with my choice, these have excellent sound, even at relatively low volume. Very crisp and clean.

JBL Marine MS6200

Excellent Speaker for the Money. The speaker covers on my Pioneer MR-1640 kept coming off underway on our 40ft sailboat, and eventually cracked and broke. It was less expensive to buy the JBl's. which were on sale at a very nice discount, than it was to buy new speaker covers from Pioneer. The JBL's seem to be more durable and they flat out sound better. Sonic prices and service was really exceptional.

great marine speaker

Never let me down, fourth pair I've bought.

Should have listened to other reviews!

Replaced the existing Sony radio because it was not working when I bought the boat pre-owned. I researched the radios and found a lot of consumers stating this model stops working consistently. I still thought I should replace the radio with what came in the boat, and also thought if I bought an extended warranty I'd be covered if something did go wrong.

Well, the radio worked for two boat rides and then stopped working. Yes, I'm covered by the warranty...but I can already see this is going to be an ongoing pain in the a - -!

Get These!!

I put 4 of them in a 120qt cooler! Haha, they are being pushed by a dj marine 4 ch amp. Also bought from Sonic. They sound fantastic! With the crossover set at 80hz they jam hard with no distortion. I can hear them clearly over the boat motor all out, plus waves,plus my wife. Get these jbl's. U WONT be disapointed.

JBL Marine Speakers

These are great speakers. I have them in all three of my boats. Enjoy the crisp sound and base. Sonic has the best price around. When these speakers came out years ago, I paid twice what I paid with Sonic. Sonic is a very professional company to do business with and they do follow up to make sure you are happy with your purchase.

Excellent Value

This speaker is an excellent value if you are on a budget and fabulous for a noisy boat or outdoor setting with ambient noise. The efficiency allows this speaker to play very loud with a low power source. It produces deep base and high clarity which is the trademark sound of JBL. This purchase was to replace one driver that failed after 4 years. Nevertheless I highly recommend this product for the amazing value and would purchase them again.

Sweet Sound

Very pleased with the purchase. Nice clean sound at all volume ranges. Was considering a subwoofer, but is not necessary. Plenty of bass just using a decent head unit. Cannot speak to durability since they have only been in a month, but I trust the JBL name will not disappoint.

Fit perfectly! Installed 2 pairs on my boat.
Pretty loud considering just hooked up to
head unit. Just ordered the JBL 4 channel amp
then I'll see what they can really do.

Great Speakers

Great speakers and sound quality for the money. Had them in a center console using the just the head unit and they sounded great. Added a Amp to the mix and these will come alive.
