I got these to replace some JBL club component speakers. I kept the tweets and put these in WOW. so much louder, cleaner, crisper. Pushing them from the head unit. They need more power. If you’re looking for JBL or a freak sounding door speaker I recommend these. I also have the NVX rubber door things for weather protection and sound projection Everything is tip top.

These were better than expected! They are indeed loud and can handle plenty of power. They are mid range speakers, so they are better suited for a setup with a sub involved. But, for the price, you cannot beat these!!!
