Not really 80w RMS
Overall it’s a great speaker. I bought them because they were on sale and saw they were advertised as 80w RMS. Upon receiving them they were in fact 40w RMS. No big deal but I would have to adjust my amplifiers to not destroy the speakers. After installing them I discovered my Audison Primas were not blown as expected but was my DSP that took a crap as the speakers were still not playing. So I gave them to my friend and we installed them in his Pulsar and has told me it has made a huge difference in his audio quality.
TLDR Speakers aren’t 80w RMS but 40w RMS and sound great on an aftermarket head unit with no amps.

Great replacement speakers
I needed a replacement component mid-bass and tweeter speakers for an indoor/outdoor jobsite bluetooth music player. The original ones were not efficient enough to play outdoors without being distorted. The JBL stage mid-bass cone fit perfectly and the tweeter fit after some adjustment to the mounting plate. As soon as I turned it on and played some music I could hear a big difference. The bass was much deeper as well as louder, and could be played at pretty high volumes without distortion. The tweeter was a perfect compliment to the bass. Not overpowering and matched up very nicely. A pair of these would sound great in any car and the price was great also!
