Got SPL!
I bought two PC of these monster subs and a piece of T2000-1bd rf amp... it's so powerful and the spl is really amazing. I installed it to my old look Toyota revo and it is the most powerful car audio set up in town. It hits 147.2db on termlab without any sound proofing or body modifications on my vehicle. I can recommend this product because of it's durability and quality. What you see is what you get!!!

When you are done playing around, get this.
If you care about sound quality, this is the sub. It will get as loud as most subs but the sound quality is really amazing. I use one of these in my home theater in a huge ported box and it's great. It plays lower than i can hear. I only know it's making those super low frequencies when random things shake in the house. It's weird to hear no sound other than house rattles.
They are expensive. but now that i know how they perform, i say they are more than worth it if you can afford it.
There are better SPL subwoofers out there but i doubt there are many that can beat the sound quality of the GTI. High end JBL really has few equals.

Great Subwoofer!
I bought two of these for use in my home theater. I am powering each one with a Crown XLS 2500. I built two 4.0 cubic foot sealed enclosures with extensive bracing on the inside. I have them crossed over at about 70 hz. These speakers are not boomy and have a natural sound that blends well with my other speakers and have the ability to play super low which is what I wanted for the home theater. I have a fairly large room and they fill it quite nicely. I can only imagine how these would sound in a large ported box in a car. If looking for an amp to push these, get the biggest one possible. The RMS power rating of 800 watts is the minimum I would use to power these. In conclusion, I liked them so much, I bought two more.
