Great bang for buck!
These come highly recommended. I have two of them in a downfiring box. Always the best from JL. Cheap, efficient, and the sound quality is above all the rest. Buy em, you won't regret it.

Broke after 6 months
I was using this product for 6 months and it broke one day out of the blue. Rigged it up and it still works, but sucks that it just came apart.

jl good for me
This new model w0 is bad***. For only 100 bucks you are getting a good quality sub. this 10 inch beats hard. sounds very clean and the lows are heard good. other subs might be louder but jl products hit harder and sound better. you won't be dissapointed.

Great Sounding Sub but Overated
I purchased 2 of the JL 10WOv2-4 to install in my son's truck. Initially these subs sounded great, especially for the price. Only problem is, though they are rated to to handle 300 watts rms/600 watts peak, they will not handle it for long.
I had these subs installed in custom built enclosure that my son and I fabricated, giving them exactely .65 cu. ft. each with an old school Rockford Fosgate "The Punch 150" supplying the power (.This amp is 20 years old, and is pristine condition. Of course, as you can tell by the amp I installed for him, I'm giving away my age. LOL) This set up was slamming initially, I was very impressed with the results. Sad thing is, the JL W0v2's only lasted about ~ 35 days.
At any rate, I've been into car audio for quite some time, and have never witnessed a situation like this, especially since the system was calibrated to the extent that no componet of the set up would allow clipping to occur. Initially, I thought the voice coils were blown, based upon the way the subs were sounding, but after removing the subs to test them with an Ohm meter, I found the culprit of the problem - The woofer cone had separated from the foam surround.
Like I said, if you buy them, I would suggest powering them with no more than 100 watts rms each. My thinking is that with the lower wattage, the cone excursion won't be as extreme, thus preventing the separation of the cone and the foam surround. Other case scenario is that JL should probably do some R&D and supply a tougher surround material, like rubber maybe. As I stated earlier, the voice coils were fine, maybe JL has a design flaw in using the foam surround. If your budget allows, go with the W3's or simular, if not, choose an amplifier pushing ~ 100 watts rms.

Great Sub! Great Price!
This is my first 10 inch sub, i always been a fan of Kicker 12 inch subs so i was kinda hesitant on purchasing this one. I went with JL Audio because of all the great reviews this brand gets, even the guy at the stereo shop I went to recomended JL right off the the bat soon as I told him I was looking for a 10in sub. Got this sub in a sealed box wired to a RockFosgate 250 Watt RMS Amp, This sub puts out clean loud tight bass and car mirror vibrating lows you can feel. This sub went above my expectations, Great job JL Audio.

JL Audio W0....WOW
We all know the JL reputation. I bought 1 of these 10 W0's, and didn't expect much since it is a W0. I must say that after 15 of dealing in car audio, i'm sooo very impressed. The sub will SLAM at any volume, and with any music type, and still remain very tight, snappy, low, and clean sounding. I would recommend this to anyone as a beginner sub, or just a quick simple, and very wise upgrade.

great product at a great price
well, sonic offers a great price on this and it's a steal. H**l I'd pay double. This is one quality sub and the folks at JL got this newer version just right with the polyfoam surround. Bass is tight, fast, rich and damn does it bang. I ran the 60-100hz sweep to set it right on my amp, feeding her 200W off an MB Quart in a sealed box with some polyfill for smoother bass (trust me) and have had no issues. I played ACDC (great bass drum), Metallica (wow), techno (club bass!) and of course Southern Hip Hop. Now with southern hip hop the digitized bass is deep, like trip hop- try Portishead. The bass is clean, smooth and deep, you can feel it in your soul! I am definitely satisfied at the power of what 1 10" can do. I heard this on a ported and beautiful richness is all I tasted, but I went with sealed due to space and was looking for a sealed sub and this fits in either one (I ran the numerous specs). Try it, you'll be a believer. And to those that say JL is overpriced, well, try it first. I go by what my ears say. Oh, I heard a Kenwood and Alpine Type S and this was the clear winner. I also wanted something 150-300W. This fit the bill and then some. ps- single voice coil, 4 ohm, great look, durable, and don't forget to order the grill.

JL 10w0 is a great value!
I might be bias considering i had issues with mine... but i love JL subs! They are not punchy but can bounce back for the next bass note. The only downside would be that i had issues with the voice coil and had to return mine. I would spend the extra dollars next time and get one of their higher end models next time.

Sweet Sub
This is the first JL sub I have ever owned and it rocks! The mids and highs hit awesome. The lows are great for a 10 inch. The excursion is pretty crazy once it hits about 24 hz. This sub is really clean compared to what ive used before. Ex. kicker, kenwood, rockford fosgate, sony. This sub also hits really hard too. I got this sub a few days ago and so far its awesome. I just hope it lasts awhile. I have this in a 1.3 cubic ft ported box running at 150 rms. For what I like, this sub does it all. I would definitely buy this sub again. JL is the only way to go!

Value is an understatement
I wanted to add a 10" sub to my VW Tiguan but didn't want to spend too much. I listen to rock, hip-hop, and rare electronic or R&B. I prefer quality to SPL and I'm all about value for money. I listened to a W0v2, W1v2, and W3v3 in wedge boxes in my car. For my listening needs I thought the W1 was terrible with little rumble and lacking in punch. The W3 was the winner, but for what I wanted, the W0 was a very close runner-up. The quality was close enough that the $100 price difference made me skip the W3. The W0v2 hits deep and hard and fills exactly what I was looking for. After listening to it for a month now, I seriously doubt I will be upgrading in the future. (Paired via LOC to factory HU and RF P400-2 amp)

Everything gets better with age
I bought two of these subs back when they came out the first time put them in a standard cab ranger and smiled. I was sadend when i had to sell them and heard that JL droped this line and replaced them with the junk W1's. Well now they are back and better then they were 10 years ago. I now have three of these one in a ranger and two in a full size chevy. System on a budget guys sounds good shakes stuff when u want to and doesnt take much to power. Overall I will rekomen these to everyone i know.

Clean and accurate bass!
I recently purchased this from Sonic and recommend to everybody to do so for the great price and ease of ordering with very helpful customer service employees. I hooked 1 up in my chevy cavalier to a Kicker ZX400.1 amp (which is an awesome amp) and it hits just hard enough without rattling the trunk to hard. It is very clean and precise bass. I highly recommend JL audio. I have owned JL in the past and I have never been unsatisfied with them. Thanks Sonic

Hell yes
I have one JL W0 in my car right now, and for one ten this s**t BEATS. Not only does it deliver amazing sq(sound quality), but also loud bass outputs. i just bought the 2nd one to put in my car and could not be happier with their performance. im pushing mine at about 200w RMS, and it takes it just fine. this thing has some serious excursion for an entry level sub.

Good sub for the price.
Without getting technical, this is a good all-around unit.
I have mine in an Apline Bandpass box, and it does pretty well

Awesome sub!
I have this sub loaded in a sealed Sonic Sub Box (1H10-0.7) that I got from here. It sits in the hatch of my Acura RSX and it sounds awesome. It's powered by a Rockford Fosgate T600-4. I bridged the rear channel and its only powering this sub. The bass of my classic rock tunes sounds nice and tight. Hip hop and rap songs sound nice and boomy too. I was truly impressed by how great and how much bass this little 10" sub produces. Big plus that it doesn't take up too much room to sounds as great as it does. I would recommend this sub if you're looking for great sound in a small footprint.

Stop hearing, be heard
These subs are very great, i have 3 of them in the back of my explorer, they sound amazing! The first day i got em, had my review mirror fall off. I think personally, that the W7 is good, but these W0's have a tighter louder bass, but that might be because i have 3 lol...
They do not take much to power, i have an amp that peaks at 1200 bought from best buy, and neither the amp or the subs have messed up. Although i am working on getting a bigger amp.
JL is amazing , but consider the pictures hanging up in your house when buying them
