Best Subs on the market

I have these subs powered by an 800 watt Pioneer mono-block amp and they are great. My friend at 2 12" Kicker subs and my 10" JL's blow him away! These subs are great and they are at a great price on this site. I have 4" x 6" Alpine speakers in the front and 6" x 9" speakers in the back. The system is awesome! i would recommend these subs to anyone and everyone looking for a great thump.

Great Sub

I used to have (2)12" Alpine Type R's with a JL Audio 500/1 amp and i had a alpine 300/4 with all Alpine Type R Components and Coaxials . I sold my (2)12" Type R's and Components as well after 2 months of using them because it didn't sound too clean. I traded the Alpine Type R Subs for (2)12" W3 and the Alpine Type R Components I went with MB Quart Premiums Kept the Coaxials in there anyways because Type R Coaxials are better than Stock Bose' anyways. The Subwoofer was hella clean and hit hard.
I've used this Subwoofer for about 6 months no problems at all and recently sold it to my friend i am getting a W7 Custom. JL Audio is the way to go Ahead Of The Curve.#1

Exceeded expectations

I just aquired 1 10w3v2-d2 from a buddy. I have it wired @ 4ohms pushing 300 rms in a sealed .75 cu. ft. enclosure... And WOW!!! This little 10 BANGS and sounds absolutely fantastic. Very clear and very strong bass without the un-necessary boom and rattles ive had with 12's. This babyvalso has some great excursion. Im still shaking my head!

Crisp bass for a good price

I have had a set of W3's since around 1997, running on Fosgate amps. I have 2 10's in a sealed box around and originally had them running on the old edition "bat wing" Fosgate punch 500, rated at 634watts. Bridged these bad boys cranked it out. Then I sold them to a friend, and about 3 years later decided to repurchase them when he needed money. Hooked them back up and they are still running today, 10 years after their original purchase. I love JL subs, they give you tight crisp bass, and the right setup will make them rock!

Great Sounding Subwoofer

I had 2 of these 12" in a sealed box and fed 500 watts of power to them and they held deep window shattering bass and also had alot of sound quality which is hard to find in subwoofers. These subwoofers are very durable I had them for over 6 months no problem out of them sound quality remained the same and god knows I was abusing them.

Best Subs For The $$$

I've got 2 of these running in .675 cubic feet each, sealed, seeing about 450 watts from my ARC Audio KAR 1000.2T and these things take it all in stride. Very clean, clear and powerful bass, never muddy or sloppy. These replaced a pair of Rockford Fosgate Power HX2's, and I believe these are a much better subwoofers. The HX2's were never this precise or musical, but I guess they weren't meant to be either. If you're thinking about these, STOP..... Just buy them. You'll be happy.

Crisp Clear Sound

These subs are great for the person who absolutely must have sound quality from their subwoofers. They have tight, punchy response, and have a quick response. They don't put out the loudest bass (I have two in a sealed box), but they do remain crisp and clear when they're pushed at high volumes. If your looking for crisp, clear bass, look no further. If your just looking for loud bass, and I mean ridiculously loud bass, then these probably aren't the subs for you, unless you're looking to grab more than a few of 'em.

Clean sound and awesome bass!!!

I had three of these hooked up in a single cab truck for about three years. The bass was great and the sound was very clean. Still sounded brand new when I took them out about a month ago. For the price they are now, you can't beat it.

really now let's talk about quality

this sub is amazing. i have 2 at the moment be pumped by only a 250 watt amp. at 2 ohms they are running 125 a piece bridged and they are REALLY impressive.i have an amp en route that will push at 325 RMS. the RMS on JL is always a range because these are tested same and satisfactory all the way from 115-450RMS!! have you ever tried to power a 450 watt sub with 115 watts? it would be awful. but JL allows for a massive range of wattage based on amp. very tight deep and clear. never a dull time when JL is involved

10w3

In my opinion JL Audio sells the best subs on the market. I have hooked up 2 10w3v2d2's and 3 10w0d4's in a 2000 Eclipse. Bass loud enough to set off car alarms from 4 levels above and deep enough to shatter the window in Sonic.
Top Notch!!!!

Overpriced!!!

I have had Kicker, Mtx, Alpine,Infinity, this has got to be the best sounding sub I've ever heard. But it's not durable. I've had to swap these 4 times over a 3 year period. They are not constructed that well so if you shoot any more that 300 watts to these, they will fall apart. Stay well under 300 watts and you should be o.k. The W6 models are constructed well and can take a pounding but for $200 a sub, the W3's are very overpriced. I don't recommend.
