Great Entry Level Sub

I bought this sub after having 2 no name shallow mount 12s in a sealed box with a no name "4000" watt max amp, and this one 10 in a ported truck box getting 200 watts rms was close to as loud if not just as loud and sounded better than those two 12s. This is a great entry level subwoofer definitely recommend it. Your not gonna shake cars next to you but for 1 10" subwoofer it's pretty impressive

wx v2 review

I have 1 10" wx v2. This is my first 10" sub I've ever bought. I love 15's, but I bought a '04 Element. I wanted 2 keep the versatility of it and not give up a lotta room. I made a awesome custom box for the sub .64 cu. ft. and I'm only running 200w. I'm soo impressed.! It hits sooo hard. I love this sub. Jl rocks!

cheap single voice coil sub with superior sound

JL has been a reputable sub designer for years and will be for the future.. this sub in a sealed custom enclosure gave my subtle system some boost of bass i was looking for.

Great entry level sub !

I have two of these subs in a custom ported box running off my old carver 250 watts RMS amplifier and they hit hard. Sure they aren't as loud as lets say a JL w3 but they are less than half the price. I am very happy with these subs, they shake everything in my car with a nice clean sound and very low power so its easy on your cars charging system. Also these subs can take a pounding, I've had mine for over a year now and i use them hard everyday and i have never had any problems with them at all. I definitely recommend these for entry level buyers who just want to upgrade their factory stereo's bass.

Great entry level subwoofer.

I owned JL audio 10wxv2 in a single Q logic box, pushed by a punch45 classic, its hit hard for a 10 and produced exceptional deep bass in a single cab full size chevy truck.

more than i expected

i bought one 10in cuz they were good on my wallet and was highly surprised at its output.. it out hit a 12 in Memphis then outhit 2 12in alpine i jus purchased a 2nd one to install and easy to install

Great Sub!

I have this sub in my 06 Frontier pick-up truck. It is exactly what I as looking for, sounds great and was on sale. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Better Replacement

I had a sub go bad - it's an older model that is no longer made. This 10WXv2-4 is the next item up that is most similar. It has definitely produced the sound I was missing for awhile

For the price you couldn't ask for a better sub, i plan on purchasing another.

good bass

I would recommend these subs for a tight areas. I have them in my '95 GMC extended cab and they do the job great.

these subs hit

I managed to fit three of these in a single cab truck and i can say they hitt very hard. I do recommend these they are a great starter/entry level sub.
Pros: very hard tight hitting bass and clean sound

JL....

I love those subs. i have two in a truck box under my set and the pound. and im only pushin them with a 600 watt boss amp. so if u want a sub that u can hear comein down the street and dont require a lot of power i would get JLs hands down.

Nice good sound quality

I have a pair of these subs. They are great for sound quality. Your not gonna flex the roof of your car or turn heads with these subs. But they sound good on mids. The lows dont really pick up. I bought a set of used ones for $30 for both subs. They are definitely worth that. But jl audio is way too expensive for what you get. You can get the same quality from mtx and kicker. And they are half the price as jl audio. For example- you can get two kicker cvr 12" subs for less than 2 of these 10's. And they sound way better. However, higher end jl audio sounds great. Not sonics fault that jl audio is so expensive, Sonic is the cheapest you will find car audio. Even on jl audio. And they have great service and fast shipping.
