not the best quaility

one of my tweeters are blown after barely any use,cant handle much bass without distorting sound crossover setup is kind of hard to install i would not recommend

JL Audio C!-650 OEM swap

Swapped these for my OEM 6.5 door speakers in a brand new Chevy truck, along with new 1,200W Pioneer head unit and amp. I am extremely pleased with the sound and performance of these budget minded speakers. I was looking to have to invest in their more expensive C5 series, thinking that oh well if these dont cut it, i didn't spend that much, but now i feel no need to upgrade. They sound great and can take whatever i put through them. Buy with confidence!

Jl Componets

Man I installed these in a 1998 Honda Civic for a customer. These speakers are clearer and louder than any on the sonic electronic site. My customer was very pleased. And very pleased with me buying through sonic electronics he saved a few bucks . Then getting them from the town car audio shop.

JL audio has always been my go to name in quality audio products. Even at the lower end of the Jl lineup, are great sounding and quality made. I'm powering the component 6.5" mids and 1" tweeter's with Jl audio's XD 600/6 V2 and it's made an amazing difference in the quality and precision of sound heard from the driver's seat. With the Jl 12"sub and coaxials in the rear, it's like being in your own sound studio. It makes life great while driving in daily traffic. I love it.

better than expected

considering im running these off an alpine ilx-w670 for now, these sound better than i expected only getting 16w. my car has 2.75" dash "tweeters" and mids in the doors so i bought these and just didnt use the tweeters that came with. nice natural sound. no muddy bass. i had tamed expectations after running the original TR coaxials in a previous car YEARS ago. those left a little to be desired. these sound better off the head unit than the TRs off an amp. once i upgrade my rear door speakers, i will hook up a JD400/4 to see what they can really do. great entry level product.
