Good for the money. I feel like you can't go wrong with JL.

Deaden and close up your doors
First off, you cannot judge a 6.5" speaker's midbass/ bass w/o sealing off your doors. All/ most car doors have massive access holes on the inner shells. To really get the sound from these speakers you MUST seal off those access holes (removable so that maintenance can still occur). I deadened the out shells then added mass foam, then sealed the doors with treated tempered masonite, then again covered with deadener. NVX is a great choice on this site for deadener. After that, these speakers (not yet broken in) create great midbass. I also sealed off the rear deck and I can actually feel the kickdrum in my back during songs so again, seal off, then judge. Great little 6.5s and they take more than 60 watts (60hz cutoff, and clean power). As a reminder every suggestion is at your own risk.
Great product
I put these in to replace the stock speakers. Once I added an amp it brought the stereo system alive. Amazing sound for a great price. I installed them into my 2015 Tundra. Needed a bracket to install, put the component in the window panel. Looks and sounds perfect. Highly recommend any JL product
