great for the price
I installed two of these in a 1989 Toyota Corolla. Although the automated 'does this match your vehicle' system said it did not match, these speakers fit perfectly. What did not fit were the original cable crimp connectors that had been plugged in to the factory speakers. I had to cut the wire and put in new crimp connectors. That was it. The sound from the speakers blew me away.

This is actually a speaker that i purchased here at sonic electronix to replace the original 4 inch c5 speaker that blew out after 3.5 years of abuse. It is definitely a great sounding speaker and i am glad that sonic electronix had it in stock. I also happened to purchase my jl audio C5 components from sonic back in 2012 and a few other electronics, i trust buying from sonic because they stand by the products they sell. Every now and then you get a defective product right out of the box. Thankfully sonic electronix has never accused me of missed using a product and gladly send me a replacement with no problem. This speaker came perfect and worked flawlessly out of the box. It was also shipped to me extremely fast free of charge. Thank you sonic!
