These speakers are excellent; very crisp highs, just enough midbass to keep you interested, and they are built with quality materials that will last.

I bought these to get just out of the entry level sets, but didn't want to pay big for the higher end speakers.

I am no audiophile, but these speakers bring music to life. I had a factory Bose system that these replaced, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. I also will no longer be using MP3 320 bit rate music with this system... They definitely bring out the imperfections of your source.

Overall, I am very happy with my purchase, and Sonic is the only place I go for my mobile electronics needs.

great price on an exceptional product

Great package deal value.

I recieved this as part of a package deal. It is enough to cover the lid of my 98 Civic sedan trunk. This will clean up the sound of your lows by decreasing noise (rattles, distortion of sound, etc). This is the first step in noise reduction and everybody should start here.

I doubt it will create a noticable increase in sound from your speakers.

Great Price and Product

I found the price great for the product I got. Installation was very easy, product sticks very well (Remember to clean/prep the surface). I noticed a difference right away in my music as well as overall noise level while driving on the highway (Doors done - trunk is next). Not the thickest sound dampening out there but it def. helps :)

The battle against rattle

Got the sound dampening door kit with some speakers, the installer put it on the rear deck of my vehicle where my two rear speakers and factory sub are. The difference is night and day, expensive but quality, good to get with speakers or a sub.

Porsche 911 993 w/ HiFi option install

The 130mm mid-woofer's frame architecture is shared with that used in 993s HiFi spkr option making a direct fit into the Transmission Line aligned bass reflex door mounted HiFi enclosures. The C5 soft dome tweeters also can be installed into the original curved door mounted tweeter pods, but a small amount of creativity is needed. The superb performance of the Jl Audio enhanced Porsche OEM HiFI option being run by the OEM Radio and Nokia amp will astound you. Install the XO supplied in the kit and bypass the crummy OEM mid-range of the HiFi option. An excellent Audio Upgrade awaits! You'll thank me.

wow JL Audio speakers sound insanely Good!

these components sound amazing. if you are thinking of buying these but are not sure if you should, please take my advice and buy them. they sound incredible! the bass on the midrange is very strong and the tweeter just gives it that perfect clarity. when listening to Acoustic music like the Eagles song Hotel California the guitar sounds as if you were having a private concert, i also listen to creed and even their music sounds insanely good. i tested these components with Bass Head music, for those of you who like to compete you guys know how low the hertz can get on low bass music. well these components have been able to hit good low hertz with out distortion and even make my door mirrors flex. the bad is the cost of these speakers are pretty high but worth every penny, thats pretty much all the bad i have to say. the crossover is a good size its big but not that big. they can be hidden under the carpet in the front by your gas and brake pedal so no one can see what you have just hear the sound Quality. i have owned these JL Audio components for about 7 months and dont regret buying them. i love them a lot and i will never go back to the old brand i used to use for years.
