JL CF275MT into Pioneer TS-X11

Purchased the JL-CF275MT speakers to replace the blown mid range speakers in a pair of vintage Pioneer TS-X11 speakers that are currently discontinued and unavailable.
It’s almost like these speakers were produced for this application.
Other than trimming 1/4” off of the mounting ears to utilize the 50227 1/8”offset clips, they fit 100% perfect without any modifications, carry the identical continuous load rating, and sound phenomenal with a stock head unit.
I did not use the supplied crossover filters as they are already build into the pioneer speakers.

The clarity of these speakers are amazing. I have then hooked to just my head unit in my 21 trail boss and they sound great. I can actually understand the words and hear the beats from the songs. A lil pricey but good quality is what you get from a JL product

Very good tweeters direct fit for a Silverado 2014 , some trimming on the wire as they are extremely long. came with harness adapters for plug in play installation , a little navigation as they come with crossover on the wiring kind of big but no big deal there was plenty of room for the installation and the bolts line up directly on this truck. Very clean sound, crispy is all I can say. Even when listening to music and switching it up to a YouTube video. I had an issue with my previous tweeters some alpine s series , clean but on vocals they would sound bad like a crackle noise. Not the case with these.

Awesome Sound

I installed these on a 2024 Single Cab GMC Sierra 1500 with factory head unit and the sound is amazing. I was surprised at how clear and loud they sound without having to add an amplifier. Speakers look solid and fit right into the factory opening without any modifications.
