Sounds Great with my smaller set-up!

Whats up guys,

I'm a long time basshead, now more refined to interior sound quality, with enough bass to kick it back and turn heads.

I had most jl subs. For the loud bang, that literally punched your back out i had the w7's... i had the w6, now i have a w3 which is powered by this amp.

Back on topic were reviewing this JL G1700 amp here, This is a great amp for sound quality, it pushes my one 10" Jl W3 pretty dam good. I leave it at -3 on the bass setting, and turn it up to 0 when i want the bass to hit. This isnt the type of amp you want to get if you have anything over 600 watts rms to 2 ohms or 450watts rms to 4 ohms.

I did want to see what this can handle, and i hooked it up to a jl audio 10w6, and it hit like crazy for one sub hooked up to this amp!

So the amp has potential to hit hard and be clear at the same time.

I'm a loyal JL audio guy as you can probably tell and i stand behind their products and services!

Pick the right sub, and this amp will do its job to fulfill that smile when you crank it!

I really don't know much about this stuff so I can;t rate how it compares - all i can say is that this with my 12" jl sub really kicks in the honda civic - none of that rubber inner lining on the doors required - crisp clean bass!

Top notch quality

I've had this amp since 2012 hooked up to my W3v3-2 and this amp rocks. Tons of power and zero issues. Even discontinued, highly recommend Jl Audio. I received all my orders within 2 days from Sonic Electronix as well.

Perfection

I have this powering my 12w3v3 and it powers it perfectly, the sound quality it puts to the sub is amazing and accurate. I have never had any type of overheating issue with this amp, it barely gets warm. Its the perfect amplifier.
