Looks nice works good but the box broke right around where the speaker mounts. Not stong at all I would have just purchased the speaker if i had to do it again.

No such thing as too much bass...

I had 2 12 inch W3's before I decided to get the JL W7 and let me tell you this: this sub is the hardest hitting 12 inch sub that I have ever heard, and the sub isn't even broken in yet. (I know it's a myth that the sub has to be broken in, but for this kind of money I just wanna play it safe). I'm also not pushing the sub to it's limit. I have the JL Audio JX1000/1D amp pushing 750 watts @ 3 ohms. This thing handles the lows like nothing, every bass note is heard and it definitely shakes every mirror in the car. If you have the money for it, I say go for it. You won't be disappointed.

This set up is a steal at under $900. Hell, it's a steal at under $1,200. SonicElectronix came through for me when I didn't have a ton of money to work with.

I Always have been a fan of JL I knew the W7 is the top of the line. If you are willing to spend the money, and are ready to start tightening everything In your car than buy it!!! You will not be disappointed trust me! I have the JL 1200/1 HD amp connected to it and wow this thing is a demon!!!!! Thanks Sonic for the best price, quality and very fast shipping!!!!!

the best sub/enclosure engineering.

JL Audio HO112R-W7AE is the best subwoofer matching with enclosure engineered and build to almost precision. I have this sub in my 2011 BMW X6M powered by an Audison LRX1.2K 1 Ch 1200 W x 1 (4Ω)
1 Ch 2000 W x 1 (2Ω) &1 Ch 3000 W x 1 (1Ω) so do the math for clean power 3Ω. this setup is a beast and a darling princess when you want it to be.

Believe the hype.

SPL powerhouse! Carry a wrench and driver you're going to need them the way this 100 plus pound gorilla ???? beats the brakes off your ride. Sheesh!

yes it`s a little expensive, but when you hear it you`ll be proud to have one of these quality beasts. Had lots of subs during 10 years time but this is something else. Save your time and space, one of these fellas is enough on a perfect wiring,believe me. I would recommend Pioneer Premier PRS-D2000SPL amp, it`s perfect mach for this sub(better then JL Audio 1000/1).drives 2 JL`s on 1.5 ohms with no problem

Knocks hardd

This box makes the 12 w7 sound great and you can hear every note/tone so clearly. I have mine hooked up to a jl 2000 watt amp and it hits so hard that I've had people little rally have to get out the car when I showed them. :) it's awesome. Beats everyone at my school including people with like 2 15s. Also, the red on the inside looks tight with red street glow.Jl audio is the best.

THIS IS REALLY A DECENT SPEAKER. ITS PRETY GOOD FOR ONLY ONE SPEAKER. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING THAT HITS PRETTY GOOD. I RECOMMEND ON GETTING THIS. ITS A LITTLE PRICEY BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY.

I have always been a kicker L5/L7 fan, untill i hear the w7 from JL. It is pricey but is some of the cleanest, hardest hitting bass you will find. Top of the line by far.

120lbs of loudness

THIS THING POUNDS. i picked it up locally from SE and it took 2 guys just to put the thing in my trunk. It's a very good product and SE has it for CHEAP CHEAP. My local car audio store carries it for $1,000 and i saved a grip by getting it from SE. I order everything from SE.

there is only one sub better than this one. Its the same sub just an inch a half bigger. this things hit so hard and have a huge range of low and high bass. if you want a system that can do anything. this is the sub to buy
