Small with plenty of power

Great little amp. Quality is great I mean it’s a JL. The amp puts out clean power and I’ve even pushed more than I thought it could handle and it sounded beautiful. I power two 8-inch JL micro subs in a ported box. They hit harder than they are supposed to and paired with this amp, they are a match made in heaven. I bought this one over the JD mode bc of the color and the led light on top which tells you what the amp is doing. Make sure to get the JL bass knob which can be installed and where just drill your hole and it will look OEM. Pay attention to the +/- ports bc they are close together and can confuse you if not paying attention. Now I’m waiting on the RD400/4 to have a matching pair of JL amp. I’m anal like that and I highly recommend these amps that actually put out the stated power and even over. No subsonic filter just bass boost and LPF.

I got this RD500 pushing two Jl Audio w1’s stealth box and it’s doing the job! I recommend buying this amp.

Strong little amp and doesn’t break a sweat.

Amazing amp, says 500 rms at 2ohms but this push 720 rms is a Monster apm!!!

I bought this amp to run with my Stealthbox in a c6 Corvette. Amp delivers big power for a small size. I highly recommend for a W3v3-2 or smaller.

What’s not to love?

This little amplifier is absolutely amazing! It is very small and delivers a very solid amount of power. I have this driving a JL 12 W3V3, and it is very capable of driving it to its limit, all while remaining as cool as a cucumber. This thing, regardless of how hard you push it, never seems to even get warm. Add to the incredible performance the capability of setting the gain easily using the included clip indicator light, and you have an absolute joy to deal with. I highly recommend this amplifier. Oh, one last thing; the optional remote knob is an absolute must.

Always been a jl audio fan, I have this amp on a 2 12w0v3-4 subwoofers wired down to 2 ohms final and despite me feeding only 250 watts rms out of rated 300 watts per subwoofer, they slam!! It’s because JL audio always under rates their products. The amp produces more then it’s rated power. And you can expect that from all JL audio products. Quality
