I bought this to protect my JL 8" in the trunk of my "toy" car. It's a no-brainer purchase & for the price was well worth it to protect the sub from projectiles in the trunk during spirited driving. The lowest price I found was at Sonic Electronix & received my order in perfect time.

Buy, buy, buy!
Spend the $ and protect your investment! These will save your subs from damage! Plus, you may pop them off now and then to push the dents back out or touch-up the paint.

Works great.
It does what it says; replaces cover on my JL box with 8 inch woofer; had damaged the original one and bought this to replace it and protect the sub.

Sub works great for country, classic rock and it fits under the back seat of my '08 Tundra DC. Good tight bass, not boomy at all. I am running 2 of these off the sub channel of anAlpine PDX-5. I have recommended this sub to other Tundra owners.
