Slash 3 Review
I recently helped build my buddys system. He is using 2 of these on 2 W7 12s. Sounds great, no complaints except the HEAVY pricetag. Amp is durable and sounds absolutely amazing. He could have saved alota$ buying RFosgate i think, but it wouldnt sound as clean. If you want really loud and pretty clear get RFosgate. If you want loud and really clear get the JL. These things imo should be about 550$ would be a good price. My buddy just has alot of $$$. I personelly run W7s and Fosgate gear. Always jl speakers and fosgate amps i have found the best. Better have an xs power battery and atleast a 200amp alt as well cuz the Jl sucks alot of juice.

Quality sound
I have alpine SPR-60C in my doors and back panels, with a JL 300/4v3 running the high end. The low end is run by two JL 1200/1v3, each amp powers 1 alpine type X 12" sub. This is one of the cleanest sounding systems I have ever had. Lots of base, and I haven't even punished the subs yet. I still have to put in my 250 amp alternator.

JL Audio 1200/1v3
This amp is a monster it sounds clear and clean and will pump massive bass that's unexplainable and it needs a lot of power, it is expensive but its worth every dollar and will last for years and will not back down from no subwoofer it will blow any sub that has a weak voice coli this amp is built by the best audio company period, I had the 1000/1v2 and the v1 and they are out of this world, but i suggest a high output alternator and a deep cycle battery or your car won't last a week, and 0 gauge wire only, the best amp on the planet is back in black.

Great Amp
I have one of the old versions of this amp and it smoked 12 12 subwoofers in a month. I have this thing pushing two pioneer ts-w5102spl and it does not back down. would recommend this amp.

Awesome amp real power
Awesome amp. I didn't buy from sonic got it at my local shop which is an authorized jl audio dealer. Before this amp I had the hifonics brutus 2000 watt amp. Nothing against that amp I think hifonics is an good amp I have a review for that on this site as well but there is a big difference in the sound coming from the brutus amp and the slash from jl. Sound quality is out of this world true pure real power. Gave a demo to my co-workers and they were amazed have it pushing 2 jl w6 12's which also are amazing. YOU will need to upgrade alternator and get a second battery it eat up some power!!! It's an beast heavy and durable and huge but have an 2003 mercury grand marquis all custom install amp rack and etc.

The best amp ever!
I've got the Slash 1000/1 and it is every bit of what I wanted from an amp. It's regulated power supply allows this amp to push the same amount of watts no matter what impedance you are running at. Fully loaded with all the features of any modern amp except JL has been making this amp for over 15 years and it is still 1 of the best selling amps of all time. I'm running mine at 4ohms and it barely gets warm after pounding for hours. It delivers clean power allowing you to push more of it w/ less noise at unwanted frequencies and getting the most out of your subs. I bought 1 of these way back in 2003 and it is all I will buy from now on until someone else makes something as good but I haven't seen it yet. It's aesthetically the best looking amp but it's performance is unparalleled. No longer do you need to wire down to the lowest impedance and squeeze every bit of power from your amp straining your vehicle and system. It's not necessary. If $ is not an issue just buy the right amp from the beginning and get the Slash, there's not a better option that I know of. Old school prices ($1 a watt) but Old School performance and an amp that'll last 20+ years.
