JL TR535-CXi Review

Very rich sound and brings out the high and lows. The cabin of my Mercedes Benz comes alive with lively sound.

Not your Typical 5- 1/4

I recomend these speakers because they perform for the price, plain and simple they sounded great with just my Kenwood KDC-HD545U and sound even better with just 75 clean watts going to each from my Mid and hi amp.

Really stops the rattling that comes from having the punch from the kiker speakers i have installed in the doors of my car.

Easy to use and apply

I used this product in my rear component speakers (Alpines) for the mid-range woofers in the doors to shield against vibration and they do a good job and the speakers sound great for it!

Really Impressed

I bought these to replace the stock front speakers in a 1999 Monte Carlo. To be honest the stock speakers were pretty good as they were 2 way speakers with a decent power handling so i was a little worried. After getting these ones out of the box i noticed there was a huge difference in the voice coil size and in the size of the magnet. Right after putting in these speakers i was impressed with the highs but the low end wasn't what i thought it would be. they would go louder than the stock ones but to be honest it was a little distorted and it seemed to be bottoming out prematurely. as time went on i have realized these really need to be broken in. every week they seem to just get better and better. the proof is in the feel of the surround. when they were new the surround was very stiff and now it can easily pushed in. now they are much much harder to distort and sound very clean and natural. the speaker cone even moves a lot less now but somehow makes the same level of sound i am very happy. the highs have also improved with time. now my headunit is underpowering these speakers and am looking for a new amp to power them.

These came in a package deal from Sonic
with JBL GTO series speakers one of the decisions why I bought the GTO speakers, easy to use. Currently installing the sound system but having used similar products before these will make a good speaker sound better.

I have always known JL speakers are one of the greatest I can pump them up and enjoy the clear sound I would recommend them to anyone fantastic

I bought this in a combo package that Sonic put together with a set of hifonics components, the zxi65c. i liked it, i havent heard any rattling from my speakers. works well, i recommend it.

Sounds Great!

I installed the Dead Shield Sound Dampening Material under all 4 of the speakers I replaced in my truck and the stereo system sounds great, better than I expected.

Was blown away at the sound quality of these. Replaced stockers in my jeep and all I can say is wowzers. I was also surprised at the bass these can put out!
