Great sound quality speakers
I paired the vr5.25 coaxial speakers with a mtx thunder amp. The sound quality was a huge step up from the stock speakers. Also the speakers got extremely loud before any distortion occurred. The installation was easy because this speaker set is coaxial which means it was an easy swap for the stock speakers. Make sure to use bass blockers to get the most out of these speakers. Highly recommended. The tweeters are the best component of this speaker. The silk tweeters produce exquisite highs but the mids were a bit lacking, most likely because it's only a 5.25" can't ask too much I guess.
Ps. After pushing it for 3 years now one of the surrounds on the speaker tore a little bit. I used some silicone adhesive and it seems to be holding. But for over 3 years of extensive use, it's a great deal. Might be a little expensive but you get what you pay for.
