Great buy

The kit would work great in a car but in a boat the kit needs to have alot more speaker wire and a longer ground wire

I got this kit for 50% off with my NVX amp. The power wires are very nice, the 6channel RCA cable is fantastic and the speaker wire is great quality too. The assortment of connectors they give you didn't really help. I ended up purchasing my own nicer ones.

Awesome Amp Kit

This kit was free with an amp purchase. I definitely like it, but I used 9 conductor speedwire for remote wire and 4 speakers. Worked out very well overall, great quality.

What a great kit. Far exceeded expectations. Nice touches like, mesh loom for the engine compartment on the 4GA power cable, heat shrinked where the you cut to install the fuse. Speaker wire is heavy gauge. The power and ground are come with the end connectors installed. My only complaint is there are no instructions so I had to reconfigure the fuse to add the rubber connectors. At least I assume thats where they go as it didnt have waterproof bushings.

Great kit

I was impressed with this kit. Their claim of a "true gauge" wire seems to be true because wires are thicker compared to other wires I have used claiming to be the same gauge. Overall the wires seem to be of great quality. Patch cables are good. They aren't super high end, but they do the job well. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an amp kit.

I used this kit as an integral part of and upgrade in my 2016 jeep jku...I could not be happier with the way my upgraded premium marine grade kicker speakers sound with my marine grade 5 channel amp. I'm only running 800 watts total, 400 to the kicker 10" sub..also a top of the line sub from /kicker. but the clarity of the highs and added non-distorted punch of bass is phenomenal! plus I your guys' Q&A videos are awesome! keep it coming and hopefully you will get more Jeep Wranglers!!

Quality Kit

Seems to have had everything I needed but did come up short on speaker wire although the installation was in a large motorhome.

I will never buy another "traditional" amp -- this one has spoiled me!

I bought a brand new 2017 Mazda 6 GT with the "premium" Bose audio system, but was underwhelmed from day one. No power, no clarity, no punch.

Then I bought my wife a 2015 Golf Sportwagen SEL with its incredible Fender audio system, and the Bose' days were numbered.

I nearly traded the Mazda for another VW with Fender, but I love everything about the Mazda except for its sub-par audio system, so I decided to TRY and upgrade it. Was not terribly confident of success, though.

Tried at first to work within the constraints of the factory Bose DSP/amp, but very quickly realized that wasn't going to yield satisfactory results.

Was about to buy a “traditional” 5-channel amp (4 channels for the “main” speakers and 1 channel for the subwoofer) when I came across this gem. Balked at the price at first, but decided it would still be way cheaper than trading in my car.

I tore out the Bose DSP/amp (and most of the factory speakers), and installed this in its place under the front passenger seat.

The first time I fired up the JL Audio Tun software on my laptop, and plugged in to the VX700/5i, I was blown away. The degree of configurability and tunability provided by this hardware/software bundle can’t be overstated. A “traditional” amp, limited to only a finite set of “hard” switches and dials, can’t do a fraction of what this thing can do.

There are so many “tunable” parameters that I’m still tweaking it. Every time I review my settings in Tun, I find a new way to eek out another incremental improvement in sound fidelity.

I also bought the Digital Remote Control, which I highly recommend. It, too, is highly configurable. I have the inner knob controlling the subwoofer level, and the outer knob acting as a front/rear fader. And I love how pressing the inner knob cycles through the different sound “profiles” you can set up via the Tun software, and how the knob’s LED changes color to identify the active profile.

The ”valet” feature is also cool – simply grounding a certain wire in the amp’s harness can effectively disable your audio system when the car is going to be out of your hands.

My Mazda’s new audio system already sounds 10 times better than the factory Bose system did, so it was worth every penny I spent on the amp. The new speakers helped, too, but most of the credit goes to this DSP/amp combo.

Haven’t yet decided if it is as good as the Fender system in my wife’s car, though. It’s damn close, though.

This is the future of amplifiers. And all in a compact, solid, beautiful package.

The wiring kit contained exactly what I needed and even a few spare parts/connectors. The power wire had an abrasion resistant sheathing over the section that is under the hood and the ground and power wires included precrimped ring connectors that work and look great. You can't beat the quality and convenience for the price.

Nice Install Kit

NVX install kits are some of the nicer ones I have used. This on in-particular works great with their 5 channel amp. I especially like the extra layer of protection for the cable running in the engine bay, give everything a nice touch once installed. NVX wire is exactly like they say and true to size. I keep some on hand for other projects (big 3 upgrades etc) and it has held up really well in everything I have used it in, including an Off-road truck where other brands have failed.

This NVX kit comes with everything and just because it comes with everything doesn't mean that quality has to be sacrificed. The quality of this kit is absolutely amazing and the fuse holder is so perfect that I ordered another one for my big 7 uograde. I got this for free with my amp purchase and I didn't even bother looking at another kit just in case because of what I read in the reviews. I'm halfway through installing my system now and I can tell you they give you more wire than you need. Will buy NVX products whenever I can.

Love these kits

I ave used a few of these 4ga and 8ga kits. Speaker wire is flexible and comes with plenty of length love that the power wire is pre loomed and is nice and flexible. The connectors I usually don't use because I like to use ferrules but they seem to be good quality. For the price, you can't beat the quality!

I was skeptical when I ordered my amp and saw that this kit was included. I assumed that it was going to be a bunch of cheap cables and wires, but boy was I wrong. The power cables are extremely nice quality, they rival some of the best name brand cables I've used. The speaker wire is also VERY nice and the fuse block is legit, heavy duty equipment. The RCA's are a little strange looking and are probably the only cheap looking/feeling part of the whole kit, but even they are more than usable. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one of these kits for my next install.

This thing is built like a tank. I'm sure it will last as long as my car. JL's integrated DSP is the go to product for all professional installers right now. a DSP will help get a much cleaner sound to your ears and JL's amp is great at keeping down any kind of interference noise while providing the power you need. I have this amp paired to Focal 6.5" components (channel per speaker and a channel per tweeter.) The other channel is going to a JL Stealth Box and 12" TW3 Subwoofer. Has just the right amount of power for this setup.
