Very impressed

This is coming from a guy who got into car audio in the 80s and I've had the pleasure of owning some pretty expensive gear over the years. I purchased these JL speakers to go in my 2008 F150 crew cab, and they're being driving by an HD JL amp through a Pioneer AVIC Z110BT head unit. I was only expecting "decent" sound through these but I was VERY pleasantly surprised. These speakers sound phenomenal. The flexibility of the passive crossovers allow for different settings for user preference. I am not disappointed in ANY way. These may not sound as good as my $1,200 Dynaudio separates, nor should they, but to most listeners they will be MORE than sufficient. Very natural and pleasing to the ears yet still very detailed. I would highly recommend these speakers. And the price from Sonic is VERY competitive. Speakers arrived brand new, just as described.

ZR570-CSi are incredible

I installed in front doors of 2008 Ford Expedition EL (with MB Quart in rear doors, Alpine PDX5 amp, JL Audio Stealthbox, and SecondSkinAudio dampening in 4 doors and sides of rear cargo compartment). Factory headunit untouched (Clean Sweep will not work with it). Sounds amazing, and totally 'stealth' install except for the ZR570 twetter screens mounted instead of the factory screens on the doors. A subtle touch.

Awesome speakers

Hear those cars driving around with loud distorted audio? It's because they should have got the JL Audio like me because I'm running a rockford fosgate amp putting 150rms in each and it is loud and clear! Since Its a small truck I added a mtx thunder form subwoofer behind the seat on a separate self powered amp. This is the best system i have ever put together because having reference quality speakers with good clean power amped slightly below the max rms rating ensures the best distortion free LOUD music possible. You cannot even sit in the truck with it at 7! I don't have a competition system or anything but if u need a pair of speakers these are worth the extra money for sure!

JL Audio ZR570-Csi

I would recommend this set. They took a little while to break in but once done they are very musical. I would place them second to the set of Focal Utopia 136w's they replaced. I am running them with an Alpine CDA-9887 head and a JL Audio 300/2v2 amp in a 2006 Mazda 3S HB. I haven't yet tuned them with the IMPRINT software but will post a final review when I do. Keep in mind the crossovers are very big and installing the crossovers in doors might be a bit tedious.

you want the best sound - this is it

I'm not one for writing reviews, but I'm selling my car WITH the ZR570's and while buying another identical set, I thought I'd post quickly. I'm running a pioneer AVIC-D3 head unit (NAV/BT/IPOD/backup camera); JL Audio 6 channel amp, JL Audio ZR 570 in front door and MB quart in the back door. JL Audio 10" sub.

All my friends comment on how crystal clear it is even at higher volumes. Once you hear this sound - hard to buy anything else ever again
