Great sound, looks really cool
I bought this unit to replace a Kenwood I had owned for five years. The unit matched the black interior and amber illumination of my 97 BMW perfectly. The touch screen works well, but sometimes you have to touch twice for it to accept your command. The setup menu is very intuitive and easy to use. The bass quality is much improved over my old unit. The sound quality is great. When it comes to the remote, JVC didn't do a very good job. It feels flimsy in your hand compared to the high quality and sturdy Kenwood remotes. A cool feature of this deck is the ability to have it switch the screen illumination when the lights are turned on.
Overall, this player is high quality and it definitely looks very good.

Incredible Design
This product is very user friendly and has a "pop" apeal in any vehicle. I have gotten more comments on how awesome the features of this cd player are than anything in my car. I do have a slight high pitch sound that I thought was coming from one of the RCA outputs in the back of my cd player. I was able to get it checked out and it was free inspection under the warranty. They concluded nothing was wrong with the player and that it was in fact my wiring. I still haven't solved the noise but I am 90% sure it isn't the cd player. I love having it in my car.
