Easy install

This wiring harness made the install easy. The package included all the color coding and made splicing it to the aftermarket radio very simple.

not impressed

this was given to me for free with the purchase of my audio system but it did not fit my truck at all. It is not made for a 2002 dodge ram 1500 at all. It may work for another vehicle but not for mine which I then had to go out and purchase a new one for my vehicle audio to work. That was the only disappointment I had overall.

Wrong one for my truck

I have a bare bones Ram pickup, this might work on other models of this truck but didn't work on mine

Just What I Needed

Purchased this radio for a 99 Jeep Wrangler I have owned since 98! Great Price, Installs Easy. Exactly what I was hoping for. The "Free" installation accessories customized for my vehicle is what sold me on order direct from Sonic Electronix and NOT Amazon Prime. Only negative was "No free shipping" to Maui (Hawaii) so I had it shipped to a friend on the mainland who then sent it to me for minimal expense, just a took a couple days longer.

Works fine but a couple colors were off.

A wire harness is a wire harness. Came free so cant beat the price. Only complaint I can think of is that a couple wires were not the correct color for my truck but easy enough to figure out. I suppose with the endless amounts of harnesses out there and the complete nutty way dodge did my truck's audio, what can a guy expect?

Just ok

Can't say much about it. Even though this was free with my radio, I would recommend something else.

My wires were not labeled, although it has a color coded chart. There was also a few wires missing that I had to wire separately, namely No ground. Really? No ground wire?

Oh, and their not pre-stripped. You cannot pull the ends off and start connecting, have to find a wire stripper.

Also the instructions could've had a little more time put into it.

I installed this on a ‘99 Jeep Cherokee. It comes with additional unneeded mounting tabs as this kit is made to fit other vehicles as well. The only piece I needed to trim in order to fit was the lower left centering dowel. This can be done with a pair of snips or a razor blade for a more flush trim job. Very pleased with how well this fit my unit.

Made the stereo installation a breeze.

The only way to install an aftermarket stereo in a vehicle is to use one of these wiring harness adapters. These adapters plug into the car end of the stereo connection. The wires are color coded. Just use wire connectors and crimp the wires to the correct wires on the plugs that came with your new stereo. The color coding is pretty much straight forward, just takes a little bit of reading and matching up the wires. This harness worked great.

Great but missing a bit

I would really like this model to have the ability to cut off low frequency sounds to the main speakers like some other JVC's. Pretty good but unless you're using an amp it's limiting and even then only two amp pre-outs.
