Excellent Value

These speakers are a great example of getting 'more bang for your buck.' If you're not looking to spend too much but still want a decent sound, these are an option worth considering. They're okay on the bass (which they're really not meant to be) but have an excellent mid-to-high range. Plus, they're quite easy to install. You will not be disappointed with this product.

Nice Speakers from JVC

The following review is for a previous version (CS-V625).

Easy to install. A bunch of flange penetrations to fit any speaker opening. Nice deep sound for this size speaker at low volume. Not much power handling starts bass distortion at 40W RMS

Tight Work

The following review is for a previous version (CS-V625).

these speakers play some serious music. very loud to the point were my ears would be ringing. not ment for base but with a nice little amp theses speakers will do the jobs hands down

These are "sleeper" speakers in a GOOD way

The following review is for a previous version (CS-V625).

I got these for the front of my '98 Cherokee Ltd., with Boston Acoustic 5 1/4" in the back. I saw at least 5 different "db" ratings regards efficiency on these, anywhere from 91 to 87. I understand some sites "up" the ratings to sell more speakers but thought I'd try them anyway and if they are bad, send 'em back. They came, there were stickers over the box covering the factory rating, and so I just installed them anyway. WOW! I have a JVC HD (AD59) and no other amp, and I am truly surprised how these sound better than my $100.00 + Boston Acoustics. I have a good ear, ran sound for a few years so I know what I'm talking about ... and they DO have bass. For the money, and how they are built, you shouldn't be dissappointed at all. great

The following review is for a previous version (CS-V625).

i set these speakers up in my 97 VW Jetta and it made a huge diffrence. together with the matching 5 1/2 speakers and menwood-mp2305 head unit this made my little v dub rocking! i mainly play heavier rock and metal music and for the price these speakers did a great job. but if your looking for speakers for more rap kind of music you may want to keep searching

Great mids and highs

The following review is for a previous version (CS-V625).

Got these installed in my 2000 maxima paired with a pioneer 68000 and the sound quality is great. I can hear things in my music that I've never heard before.
one down side is that they don't produce bass to well so if you're not looking forward to getting some subs these aren't for you.

Please Read!!!!!!

The following review is for a previous version (CS-V625).

I had these speakers for about 4 months. They get loud and sound pretty good but NOW the tweeter no longer works. I wasn't running them on an amplifier, just a regular head unit.. These speakers are very cheap and look good, but if you only wanna use them for a short period of time buy them
