Love the product

I have tried a few different brands and this head set is really good. It does cancel the surrounding noise. I use it for travel and love them.

JVC HA-NC250

This is a very good headphone at a very reasonable price. For airplanes the noise cancellation is terrific.

Great Product

I absolutely love JVC's HANC250 high-grade noise canceling headphones. Prior to purchasing I was using the standard plugs in your ear, earphones. When going to the gym, I was having to turn up the volume higher and higher to cancel out all the chatter going on in the club. I started developing a very noticeable sensitivity with my hearing. I had a hard time going anywhere with loud noises or lots of conversations going on to the point I developed a loud constant ringing noise in my ear. Listening to my music at high decimals was damaging my hearing. I purchased the JVC's noise canceling headphones and it makes a huge difference. I turned down my MP3 player by 10 digits and still could hear my music with no problems and no outside interference. It really does help reduce outside noise. My ears are slowly recovering from the sensitivity level. I will never go back to any other headset. This does what it says it is suppose to do. Lovin it!

Good noise cancelling headphones

Used during a 13 hour flight to hong kong. It blocked out most of the engine noise and gave superior sound from the in-flight movies.
Pros: good sound quality; blocked most of engine noise; compact storage in hard cover 4 Con: Pressure on ears uncomfortable after 4 or 5 hours of continuous use
