great head unit
I've owned this for almost six months. I have all the add-ons except HD radio. Everything works flawlessly. Fits perfect in my Dodge Ram. My only knock concerns the GPS. You cannot update it nor can you use it in rural areas. However, I didn't buy it for the GPS. The internal HD rocks!

Bought this unit because a double din wouldn't fit and a flip out would be too close to hitting the shifter. The screen has a good picture but it's only 3.5" so hard to notice any imperfections. I can't really complain for the price i paid. Few complaints, songs from hard drive re-start from beginning when car is turned off. I had a problem with my unit when I'd change it from the hard drive music to the radio or CD it would freeze and I'd have to reset it. That's why I'd usually just listen to the hard drive. Navigation isn't very detailed but that might be because its a 3.5" screen. Wish they'd allow you to put the map on a video out on a bigger screen. But with the HDD navigation its much faster and no need to mess with map discs. Good unit but JVC needs to work on fine tuning it.

just installed this unit and wow it's great.the navigation is very accurate.dvd play back it super.would suggest this unit to anyone looking to upgrade to navigation and dvd.
