Great sound, with plenty of features, a nice cd player, with aux., and usb ports.

Exactly what I needed

Great sound and all the features I need for my convertible. Can not beat thy he value, usb,3.5mm input jack, CD player am/FM and JVC quality to boot.

Great sounding entry level receiver!

This receiver is pretty nice. The sound is great if you tune the eq right and the eq has tones of tuning options. I bought this to replace my 2din stock receiver in my 98 Ford Explorer Sport and with the free install kit sonic sent me, it fit perfect. It has a learning curve but if you read the manual it's actually pretty easy to use. For the money you get a lot from a name brand receiver this low in price. Honestly for me, there's no need to spend more than what's this cost unless your trying to have a touchscreen 7inch screen.

JVC-KD-R450 stereo system

great budget deck

Works great. Does exactly what its supposed to do for cheaper than other brands. Ive always turned to jvc for a budget deck.

It's worth the price

This head unit is great for it's cost. Everything works great! Only thing missing is Bluetooth,but other than that,a nice head unit.

Great but missing a bit

I would really like this model to have the ability to cut off low frequency sounds to the main speakers like some other JVC's. Pretty good but unless you're using an amp it's limiting and even then only two amp pre-outs.

Definitely no $150 head unit, but for the price point you can’t beat it. Not a good pair with a cheap amp for tuning your subs, but I run an SCV3000D so I don’t really have an issue

Good - Controls are straightforward, sharp and clean look, decent power

Bad - Using usb with android requires app download, which means no spotify over usb

This is a great radio. Many features and the CD player is fantastic... even with road bumps.

I did not use the remote control, but I can see how it would be very handy on a long trip.

Great product for a great price

I needed a budget deck for my 04 Ranger and this fits the bill perfectly. The USB works great with my thumb drives and has plenty of power for my tastes. The buttons are a little small for my poor eyes and fat fingers, but it's the trade off you get when choosing a single din unit.
