A nice unit!

This head unit has nice power and clarity without having to purchase extra power. If there is a downside it would be learning where the main control buttons are located. It can be unsafe looking for buttons while driving.

Good looks!

This product offers a very good outside appearance, the color changing abilities are simply NEAT! The direct ipod control is also very, very useful. However, this head unit leaves a little to be desired when it comes to tuning your system overall. If you want something to look good, this is it. If you care about performance as well, then I would recommend looking at Pioneer or Kenwood's product lineup.

Good usablility

I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a very good deck without the need for huge volume and thump. Good sound for price and all round normal everyday use. This deck's USB flash drive reads faster than a regular CD. Very awesome, I never have to change CD's....

This product is awesome

I bought this head unit a couple days ago and it is great. I like having it. This product is not too expensive and it has everything i need.

Pros- I like having the ipod controls either through the deck or the ipod itself

-The colors are awesome and when its on demo mode it changes colors that's awesome

-I like the subwoofer crossover control

-Sound quality is amazing. and loud ( there is really no need for a speaker amp)

Cons- There is one, its about all the functions are hidden in the deck and take some time to get to them. Once you learn the deck its really not that bad anymore

I have owned pioneer, valor, kenwood and jvc decks. I decided to go back with jvc because its style, its sound quality, and its price.

Nice unit for the money

Pros: Looks and feels good, easy to navigate. Gotta love all the display colors, with its own button for quickly setting them. Easy face detach and enough display dimming at night, unlike my pricey Alp unit in other car. Sound without external amp is as good as I've heard on any head unit, fine for second car or car of s.o. Lack of preset button is a pro b/c of clean look, and it's hard to hit little buttons while driving anyway. Lots and lots of adjust-ability, like automatic clock set through XM, and controlling iPod through head unit or iPod itself.

Cons: Must learn to change stations w/o preset buttons. NO power antenna wire to connect if you need one to raise antenna with use of FM. Didn't see that coming, assumed they all had it, oh well I don't use FM anyway.

Very Nice Upgrade

I bought this from a sore in Fort Wayne called D&B Sales. Very nice head unit, seems to be very sturdy and tough. I like how you can change the colors and there is lots of settings for bass, treble, mid range, amp gain, and there is lots of tuning for subwoofers. If you are looking to upgrade your head unit then this is a good way to go. I upgraded this from a Kenwood after-market head unit, to this there is no need to explain! THIS THING ROCKS!!!!

its a toughie

Got this radio head cuz of the cool light color changes the unit has. It is tough to figure out though since it has no buttons like a conventional unit!

It does have a USB port along with a regular jack hole for you to play your ipod, iphone or other mp3 player

Still doesn't make up for the difficulty of setting the radio and other standard things on radio units

The instructions are very general.
