Fantastic buy. Great sound in a stereo. Really is the stereo I wish to have bought in the first place.

works

center readout not bright enough! when you eject cd or other media it should return to fm but it doesn't you have to scroll back to fm on a readout that you can barely see in the day. at night its ok and the stereo does sound good. and my remote does not work?

Cool features. Easy to install. Love the large volume knob. Blue tooth link very easy to set up. Sounds amazing!

Good HU

This is better than one of the Head units I paid over twice as much for.
Everything works great and the menu is easy to use.
Not being able to navigate the folders on a USB drives is a miss and not being able to save settings is another.

Although, compared to a buddies JVC, it lacks the dynamic mode which is really nice for easy EQ tuning.

Jvc kd-ar959bs

The jvc kd-ar959bs is a great buy for the price. A great looking radio sound good and easy to operate. I recommend this to anyone looking for a good radio.

Definitely recommend.

Pros: three ways to manually control equalizer: easy, not as easy, and advanced...Take your pick! Bluetooth works well.

Cons: slightly dim display during the day, setup took longer than anticipated

This unit is very easy to use. works very well with the phone. Most importantly, this unit does support using separate amplifiers via RCA output to maximize its potential. The digital sound enhancers are interesting to play with time permitting so overall, this unit is solid, does the job and has the latest features that support the phones. Only con I would have is getting the face off the unit when parking. It is a bit of struggle. If you leave the face in, not an issue.

Excellent choice

This radio has a lot of options and features for the price. Bluetooth is easy to set up and works great. Plenty of power for a pickup cab. Easy set up. Only a few downsides. I can't see display very well during the day. Volume knob is a little touchy. Overall I'm very satisfied and would recommend for purchasing.

Great buy!!

Great look shipped fast! It has great crossoversoptions to fine tune compared to other head units I've owned so that's a huge plus! Has speaker size options which was cool because it actually mad it sound better through door speakers when selecting the right size. The only bad thing is I can't get a clean 4 volt signal out of this stereo through the subwoofer preamp output. I used my oscilloscope and the clean signal stopped at I believe 3.4 or 3.6 with everything set flat no loudness or bass boost. I will be keeping this because I do like It. It does work for me great. Should say up to 4 volts though ...

Love everything about this radio from the color selection to performance this met my expectations little pricey and took a second to learn all the ins and outs but that's to be expected with all the different settings this thing has built in it

Great Unit!

I bought this because I was looking 4 volt or higher RCA outputs. This one had 5 volt outputs, fully adjustable EQ and Crossovers, and it looked very nice. I wanted the Pioneer DEH-80prs but this had all the things that made me want that one for about $100 cheaper. Gave me great sound quality from my big competition system.

The radio was sent without any difficulties whatsoever with all appropriate extras and harnesses that I might need for the installation. It was rather easy to install.

It works fine. It plays CD's, USB, FM, and AM radio. The EQ variety is a plus. I have not subscribed to Sirius XM radio so I have not had the opportunity to use that part of the radio. However, local reception is good and it sounds great.

I am trying to figure out how to title songs on a CD or USB in order to get it to show the names of the songs. That is not clear to me yet and depends, evidently, on the program used to compose a song, burn or copy the songs to disc or USB.. However, it is supposed to be able to read ISO 9660 Level 1/2 Joliet, Long file name format title writing.
