JVC KD-X210 installed in 2008 nissan altima

Works great - easy to install using supplied connectors and dash hardware

Took less than an hour to remove original hardware and install new JVC receiver

First Stereo! Great Value!

This is the first car stereo i have ever purchased for my car. I was unsure about buying it at first because there was no reviews; I'm thrilled that i bought it. This is a great budget stereo for anyone who just wants their speakers to sound better and louder. The bass in my car is much deeper now and the mids and highs were improved also. The usb is a great feature to have because i can charge my Iphone through it. If you are looking for a cheap well rounded stereo this is the one for you!

Nice for the price

Pros: Cheap, works rather well, installation was a snap, and it does the job rather well.

Cons: Only one, really - it should have some drop-simple way to kick it out of demo mode; Perhaps I should have set that up when I installed it, but...

Nice sound on a low budget

Very simple unit but it'll meet your needs on a basic set up. Sound is good, it's not too hard to use and the software is decent. Only thing I'm a little disappointed about is that there's no volume control on the rca output

Price is right! Great features!

The following review is for a previous version (KD-X200).

Installation is very easy - took 1/2 hour to open the package, go thru the guide and have it playing in my car (Also, this is my first time putting a after-market stereo in a car). Sonic gave me the dash-kit and cables for free and free shipping - that seriously good deal. And, Sonic customer care person is very knowledgeable to guide me the right product I needed. I am happy to do business with them. I was specifically looking for CD-less receiver below $100 price. My car had factory-installed CD/radio and I was dying to get a MP3 player - I donot own a CD (I mean it) in the past 5 years.

JVC has lots of features - so far, I have played MP3 songs from USB drive and sound clear and loud. Radio functions well and captures many stations from far away.

Will recommend to anyway looking for a budget upgrade to an existing car stereo.

Good unit for radio and mp3's

The following review is for a previous version (KD-X200).

Ordered this unit thinking it would be the same size as a normal head unit. It isn't, it is a little more than half the size of a normal head unit with CD player in it. Which in my case works out because it is less weight to be hanging on the dash of my car. Very easy to use and almost as easy to install. I am VERY satisfied with my purchase, the only thing that I didn't like is the size of the remote. The remote is about the size of a tube of chapstick and will be VERY easy to lose if you use them. I don't have any use for a remote as the head unit is within arms reach while driving.

Good fit and performance

The following review is for a previous version (KD-X200).

I was looking for a NON CD Radio to fit in a hot rod dash where depth was an issue and the JVC unit fit perfectly.
I am also very satisfied with the quality and features of the radio, very clear tones with good bass even without and amplifier.

Great Media Player

The following review is for a previous version (KD-X200).

I have this on my vehicle for over a month now. Very convenient. Now I have all my songs ripped from CDs and transferred to my Cruzer Fit. Never have to change CDs or use cassette adapter. Music sounds good even with factory speakers. Will upgrade speakers later, and by then the whole system will rock.

Good: Mostly everything about it.

Bad: Can not do Shuffle and Repeat on a folder at the same time.
