Great Value

I needed Bluetooth for my Infiniti G20 and it works great. It connects better than my Alpine 148BT. For the price, well worth it. Get it if you need a simple radio with Bluetooth.

cool tunes

I bought this for my 1991 Volvo 240se to replace a poorly functioning cassette with a bad radio. I mostly listened to my iPod using an FM transmitter with the usual problems-changing stations as we travel to keep a clear frequency, sound fading in & out etc. Well, I have to say, installing my new JVC was a bit more of a job than I had thought at first but It was well worth the effort! The factory unit has an amp hidden behind the center console that had to be removed and I ended up pretty much rewiring the rear speakers after the supplied plug adapter failed to fit so the entire job took about five times as long as I had hoped. I replaced the stock speakers with 4" speakers from Sonic and have to admit the sound is beautiful. even as is. I plugged my patch cords into the back of the JVC and routed them back where I can add my 500W amp and add a pair of boxes in the way-back to pull out for parties at the beach etc. I also used B10 replacement bulbs from SuperBright LED's to convert my dash lights to blue and match the new stereo while I was at it. End result of all this work-the unit sounds great, pairs up with my iphone quickly every time I turn it on, works great with the iPod through USB, the remote is simple and easy to use, all things considered I found it to be an excellent receiver. I cannot speak to the iPhone call quality since I'm a childless recluse and nobody ever calls me but I'm betting it works as well as everything else did! So, long story short, this is a great unit, looks and sounds good and I found customer service going out of their way to help me so I give them 5 stars all around!

This JVC radio does it all. I love all the Bluetooth features. The sound is awesome!

Bought this head unit after doing much research. I am using this head unit for my android tablet in dash installation. I wanted something that would not have to be exposed all the time. I installed this in the back of my dash behind my tablet connected my tablet through Bluetooth and used the jvs smart media app to control the stereo through my tablet. Great so far

JVC Bluetooth stereo

If you don't care about playing CDs, this is the perfect unit. Good sound, nice eq, Bluetooth works lime a charm.

Hard to beat for the price, I would recommend this unit.

easy to use

I purchased this head unit for my 98 s10.. I'm very pleased with it and would have to Thank sonic electronix for fast clean shipping. The head unit has a ton of options but my favorite is the Bluetooth connectivity. It automatically sincs with my phone and the microphone makes taking calls very easy and efficient. . ThankS sonic electronix.

Great HeadUnit

Everything you could ask for! It's powerful enough to make speakers sound great without an amp and it only gets better with one. Lots of options and very easy to navigate

Pretty Good

I'd say its a pretty good stereo overall. Good radio quality, don't really use it cause I installed three tens in the trunk and the neon is a boppin lol. All of the features work pretty smoothly, only problem I've had so far is that my Bluetooth will sometimes not work. I'll be playing music and pause it to do something and then press play but it won't work but then turn it back on and reconnect it. Definitely worth the price and I recommend it to anyone that's just wanting Bluetooth for a cheap price.

Good value

Has all the good features you would expect. Bass and treble along with the built in eq settings are a bit lacking but with a bit of fiddling it sounds great.
Mated to my iphones well and phone calls are good but takes a few minutes to find each other after power on.
Pandora only works through BT setting but still has all controls once you launch the app but even then still wont sync with JVC Pandora setting, no biggie.
For music I got a low profile 32 gig usb 2.0 drive, made sure it was formatted to FAT32 and loaded 19 gigs on it and it takes 30 seconds to read it and start playing.
Saw a Youtube review that the guy was controlling his unit through an app but I cannot find which JVC app that was. Maybe he gave the wrong model number?

Works good, looks good, bluetooth is great especially if you have people who ride with you regularly who like to play stuff from their devices. no issues except the two power wires were reversed so it forgot the settings when I turned off the car. switched them and it works great. Come to think of it that may have been a default with the harness adapter i bought with it.

Nice unit!

All my favorite music is on my phone ,as is Pandora. This unit plays all that without wires and has hand free cell phone too. I am also very happy with the sound quality. The price was great and they included the installation kit! Highly recommended!
