Surprising!

I removed the mechless pioneer and installed this. I was glad I bought this especially after finding out Kenwood sand JVC merged. How could I lose?
Lots of options. My son says it better than the PIONEER double din.

Terrific stereo

Excellent stereo, looks awesome and performs even better. Took about 30 minutes to dial in the sound settings to my liking, but worth it. Features/settings are endless and the sound quality is unbelievable, even at high volumes. Phone calls are loud and clear, and the person on the other end of the call confirmed that as well. Stereo has 49 total color illuminations to match any interior lighting, can even make the color change at different intervals. All in all, I would've been happy paying twice the price for all the features/quality you get with this deck. When I sell the car, the KD-X350BTS will be staying with me.

This is a great little head unit. It's super compact, making it very easy to install in smaller spaces and is full of features that most at this price point don't offer. Perfect source unit for a budget system.
The screen is a little hard to see in the day time and there are a few minor issues with button placement and shared action buttons, but otherwise it's very well thought out.

Okay for the price.

This unit is okay. Not great but not bad either. It has pretty good xover/eq settings, good connectivity. That’s about it. The only thing that I really had a problem with was the rca pre amp voltage. This is said to have ‘3 4volt pre outs’. It does have 3. But none of them come close to 4 volts. Before I tested them, I was confused as to why I had to set my Monoblock amps gain so high. Well once I tested them I found out why. The highest voltage I read was about 1.3 volts. And this was with the subwoofer setting set all the way to +10. With the bass boost all the way up it got to about 1.5 volts. And also, I took these ratings with a 50hz 0db test tone and an expensive digital multi meter, so I’m sure these readings were accurate.

So all in all, it’s an okay head unit for someone just getting into the game. Or someone who doesn’t use an external amp. But for me, I’ve had this head unit about a month and a half and I just upgraded to the deh 80prs. Didn’t want to cheap out again and end up dissatisfied.

Good product for the money!!

Originally got a double din but hated it, so I got this one and like it much better!! Only negative is the requirement to purchase the remote for easier preset changes. It has a phone app but where I live, if your caught with your phone in hand it's a $250 ticket. Without the remote it's a multi-step process to access presets above the first 6.

Nice nice for the $ wish it was double just because i'm old and can't see. Everything works good bluetooth is great for the $ you can't find any better comes with 3 amp hookup +++ but the sound you get with the 4V over 2V is the deal maker

Overall I like it a lot. The volume button is nice and big but it's a little too close to some of the buttons. I have an XM receiver that I use with it. It's a little cumbersome to navigate through the XM stations. I wish it was a little simpler to navigate.
