Very pleased so far

Lots of options with this unit. Almost too many, when it comes to all the things you can do with EQ/crossover settings, and of course none of this is really covered in the included manual, you have to download the full manual from JVC. I purchased this primarily to play from USB sticks, and so far it seems to do well, but I can't speak for the phone integration, Alexa, BT, etc. I upgraded to this for the 3 sets of RCA outs and the custom color options, but I appreciate being able to play FLAC and WAV format now, as I already have a different vehicle set up for uncompressed WAV. The only thing I'd really like to see added is a second USB on the back so I can run a permanent wire to the glove box to keep from hanging things out of my dashboard - I'm a little out of the loop and don't know how common this is, but the Sony I have in my car has this and it's awesome, although that was a much pricier (CD/digital) unit from several years ago. My only real complaint is that at some point, JVC changed its plug slightly. I was hoping this would be a quick swap since it was replacing another older JVC, but despite appearing to have the same pin layout and plug size/shape, the older plug would not fit this unit and I had to wire in the new one. You expect that with any install, just a heads up to anyone who might be hoping to save some time because the plugs LOOK the same.
