Excellent product

I am a retired automotive technician and have installed lots of aftermarket sound dying lots of various vehicles. Until the last couple of years installing a double din system in a 98-2002 Chevy S 10 series was a very complicated and labor-intensive job and difficult to make look “factory”. I really like the Chevy S10 and Blazer of this period and own both a 2001 S10 extended cab 3 door and a 99 Chevy Blazer Trailblazer. I recently decided to update the sound system in my S10 work truck. I purchased the JVC KW-M560BT for its features and my years of experience with JVC mobile audio. I used the Metra 95-3027 dash kit, Scoche GM02B wiring adapter. I had previously installed a single din JVC unit several years past and had the antenna adapter. The installation was straightforward and simple. The short chassis of the KW-M560BT did not require the cutting of the inner dash. The cutting of the dash bezel was minor and easily completed with a Dremel tool and a plastic cutting tool. Measure carefully and follow the directions in the dash kit. I painted my dash kit to match my dash color. The result looks factory and the unit is a high quality, feature-rich update to my older truck.
This unit WILL fit in a 1999 Chevy Blazer and its relatives. There is a kit available that makes the installation fairly simple and straightforward. The Metra 95-3028 dash kit makes this happen.

Mother Loves Her New Radio

Got this as Christmas present for my mom & she loves it. Gave her a flash drive with some of her favorite music also. Got The free xm tuner got it installed but seem to be having trouble getting it to work so I set her up xm account and she can just stream it till gets warmer and we can fix it. Overall couldn't be happier with this purchase.
