its accurate

Hmmm...it does what it should. Nothing spectacular in terms of presentation. Audio quality is good and right for the 300-350 price range.
Not hard to install.

Bluetooth works well as does the mic. Streaming is clear. Pairing with my nexus 4 worked seamlessly.

My only complaints are:
Too iphone focused
Gui is boring

Amazing sound, clean interface, & impresses everyone.

First off, this is the first new car radio I’ve had in 6 years. So, I don’t have much recent experience with Bluetooth, Pandora, etc.

What I do know about is sound clarity, control simplicity, beauty, and customization. This radio has all that hands down. Three sets of 4 volt preouts provide beautiful sound. From the ipod connection, Bluetooth streaming, CD, and even radio. The radio stations even sound better. Amazing sound. Crossover options offer several options 50, 60, 80, 100, and more. And you can set one frequency for the front speakers, one for the back speakers, and one for the subwoofer. The EQ only offers 3 spectrums but they are still adjustable in various ways. Hard to explain but you can get the perfect sound you want. Very simple to use. Easy to learn. Customization is cool. You can pick any color you want for background, button, and text...and save each setting for day and night. Various background options on JVC website. Plus, you can do a background capture so you can do your own custom background. Also, the touch screen has a few tricks. You can swipe back-and-forth to skip to the next track/music station. This works in all functions I’ve tried so far, so CD, Bluetooth, ipod, & radio. And you can adjust the volume by making a circle motion on the screen…make the volume go up or down by swirling your finger in circles. That impresses people.

Bluetooth works great. I was told that it’s hardly noticeable that I am talking via Bluetooth while in the car. Bluetooth streaming on Galaxy S4 is nearly flawless. Takes 30 seconds to a minute sometimes to fully connect to audio player. That could be quicker. Of course, no album art is displayed via Bluetooth. The written info is all displayed of course. It’s cool to Bluetooth navigation audio over the radio. Of course, no phone video is displayed. Streaming other music, like iheart radio, sounds very clear via Bluetooth. I cannot get the Pandora function to work with my phone. I can only get the sound to play via Bluetooth.

The separate Pandora function does not recognize my device. This is not a huge deal for me because I try to avoid streaming too much. Bluetooth controls are placed on the screen when streaming music only. I cannot get any other Bluetooth controls on the screen.
Motorized face is cool. Various tilting options. Very sensitive/responsive screen. Ejecting a disc is odd. You have to press a small place on the screen to bring the face back up, which is odd. Playing ipod via usb is clean. Displays album art and everything else. Works flawlessly. I’ve been told that you can get that $15 ipod cable to display the actual screen of the ipod/iphone. That would allow you to see the iphone navigation picture from my understanding.

I have this hooked up to external amps, so I cannot vouch for the radio speaker wattage. I don’t use the siriusxm, so I cannot vouch for that either. No iphone, so I cannot vouch for the apps option on the radio.

So, I’d give this radio 4 out of 5. Could be better…easier Pandora controls (maybe I don’t have it figured out yet), better button to bring the face back up after ejecting a disc, quicker Bluetooth reading, an 8 spectrum EQ, hd screen (which I believe no other radio has in this price range), more levels of "loud" adjustment, etc. Overall, it’s a great radio that I highly recommend.

the price is good for this product ,but the only issue i have is,,,, the display keep going out every 15 mim , and the display do not stay on for the long time

Its a awesome radio i think it would better pair with Apple products tho but it work well with other devices i recommend it
