Quality unit

I've got this installed with my work truck's Jensen VM9313 in dash dvd.

The audio quality is great. An incoming call lowers the music volume and you hear the caller's voice over your car speakers. Crisp and clear, nice sound. No static, feedback, or interference.

The price is a great value compared to some manufacturers. It allows me to stream music or other audio from my cell phone too.

Well worth the money. As usual, Sonic shipped the next day. Awesome service, they are like the newegg of audio!

Works Great, Sounds Great

I installed this product in conjunction with a Jensen VM9313. It couldn't have been easier to install. Just one connection and run the receiver/mic wire up to the sun visor. It works perfectly and sounds great. People on the other end of the line say they can't tell that I'm using an in car Blue Tooth. It's incredibly convenient. When the phone rings, just touch the blue button on the receiver/mic, the music mutes and start talking. You can safely keep both hands on the wheel and both eyes on the road.

Blue Tooth Not Good.

I can hear conversations very well through my Jensen Radio. People cannot hear me well through the blue tooth. They say I sound far away or garbled. It could sure use a better transmitter.

HFP Address Book Sync Doesn't Work

This unit is supposed to synchronize your phone's address book and call lists with Jensen head units - but it doesn't work with many phones. With Jensen's VM9423 head unit and an iPhone 3g, contact names show up as random hexadecimal characters instead of real names. It's not an issue with the phone as it works great wit Alpine head units. Technical support is well aware of the issue but has no plans to fix it (apparently I wasn't the first to complain about this). If seeing your address book is important to you (and it should be) - DON'T BUY THIS UNIT until you've tested it with your own phone.
