Small, compact Jensen boombox

hard to find and i am thrilled at the sound quality from the small boombox that still has a tape drive and cd.........some of us have not converted everything yet!!!

Outstanding Service!

I am pleased with my CD player, but review is because of the service I was given by Jacob when ordering. I am very low on my 'technology' knowledge, but he walked me thru what to order and how to set up my home media center.
Not only that,but when I called about another item, he asked how the previous order had worked out.
Very good service, especially after visiting stores in my area and hearing the set up was impossible.

bass sucks

bought for my sister, she is disappointed in the bass quality, especially since there is adjustment

Great Value!!

Use for my old cassettes (rock&roll) Blues( CD's) great sound for little machine.

It's okay, a decent price.

Pros: reasonable price.
Cons: No earphone jack, no tone control, and it's difficult to insert the cassette tape.

Overall a good value.

Perfect size for counter top!!

I live in a one bedroom mobile home, limited counter space. Was looking for a small size but with features I needed. This fit the bill!! Couldn't be happier, even sounds good with the much needed antenna in place, since I live in a trailer. Am most pleased with my purchase and the price!!

Jensen CD 540

I was disappointed in the radio. I thought the sound quality was not as expected from Jensen, so rather than send it back, I repackaged it up and will give it to one of my grand sons for Christmas. The radio seemed to work ok, and the plug in at the back of the radio was real loose. I figure this will be a problem If I used it.

Not Bad For The Money

This unit is very convenient to tote around with you because of it's compact size. It delivers an acceptable sound although I feel it needs just a little more base, it does sound a little like the old transistor radio of yesteryear when I was a teenager 50 years ago. But having said that, so far seems like a good value for the money.
