Great speakers

Man they sound wonderful compared to several pair of $100 speakers. Not sure how they do it? I am getting another pair 4 sure

Excellent sound

Excellent product as Jensen always does, however the speaker did not fir the vehicle as easily as expected. A little ingenuity was needed to make them work.

Great, cheap factory upgrade

2003 Honda Accord. Stock stereo/head unit.
If you are looking for a very inexpensive way to upgrade some factory speakers you really can't go wrong here. Drop in installation. Fits with the factory holes and screws. Had to adjust the bass level up one notch but these will rumble your seat and rattle the mirror. Was a little worried that the factory 6x9 didn't have a tweeter. I have been able to leave the tweeter active on the Jensen's without a slight change in the sound.
One word of caution. When I first hooked them up I was not impressed. After listening for a few days it sounded out of phase like there was a big dead sound hole in the middle of the car. Swapped the plus and minus on BOTH rear speakers and that did the trick. In this case I guess the fronts were out of phase with the rears. I was using the wire adapters sold here. Never seen that before. Overall I'm very happy with this and wish I would have done this years ago.

pretty darn good

i put these in the back of my old 95 cutlass, this car has 3.5 inchers in the dash (also jensens) so not alot of bass. had to do some routing of the body to get these 6x9's to fit in the rear dash (top mounted) but after getting them installed... sound great quite a bit of bass to round out the system. even cranked pretty loud not much distortion.

Does the job well

Used these for stock replacement speakers in my 97 civic. Pioneer head unit drove them well. Very nice sound especially if i had a bit more wattage.

Look, This speaker technology is perfected. Even top of the line Alpine uses paper cones, just sound the best! these are amazing for the money don't blow them with too much power. You wont do any better.

these are the best "low power requirement" 6x9's I have ever used. I have been a Car Stereo guy for 20+ years and PROMISE you CAN spend More money, but hear NO clearer. Sound may not be the LOUDEST but run SWEET on just an aftermarket head unit BEAUTIFUL. EVERYBODY is AMAZED when they HEAR these BAD BOYS.

AWESOME SOUND!

My son and i were fighting about "HIGH END" (expensive) speakers. But we both agreed on these. WOW Jensen has NOT lost their game. These sound FANTASTIC. I have been a car audiophile for 25 years. I guarantee these will do the job.

A long time ago Jensen was a great product but time has caught up with them. If you buy these you are getting what you pay for. Spend a little more and get good speakers, you'll be happy you did.
