Great for someone new to vinyl

I got this as a Christmas present for my girlfriend and she absolutely loved it. She was new to vinyl and didn't have a stereo so this seemed like the perfect fit. And even if she decided she wasn't much into buying vinyl, it still has a CD/cassette player and AM/FM radio. Also, having external speakers is always preferable to many of the other all-in-one units that have usually pretty weak internal speakers.

While this may not be right for a more experienced record enthusiast, it really is a great little set to get someone started. It's got just about everything you'd want from a stereo, the price is right, and it won't take up too much space either. If you're looking to jump into the world of vinyl this is a great place to start. Highly recommended!

Hard to find a value like this

I recommend this stereo unit as I consider it a comparable value to others I have looked at. My component system died and, rather than spend a lot of money to replace it, I researched Jensen. I know their reputation for automotive stereo/speaker installations. I was not disappointed. I use larger Pioneer speakers and the sound is incredible. The only thing I have any question about is replacement of turntable needle. There's no info on it in the manual.
