Good product for the money

I would say this is a very good first timer dvd player. It has been a good one for me put it in a 1997 F-150,it was hard to make fit so have it put in by some one who knows what there doing. But after that,great to have. Dvd and the mp3 cds,work great so if your are looking for a product that wont make you broke,but still works great and looks great than buy this.

Great DVD in dash play

I must say that this is one of the best in dash DVD players I have owned. if you buy this item you'll be more than pleased I know I am and from now on will buy all my toys from Sonic Electronix shop where you know what you're getting is the best item for the best price.

Great reliability for the money

It isn't the most feature rich dvd player on the market but it has lasted 7 months so far with no glitches.

- SD card reader won't play SDHC cards.
- The unit only tilts the screen upward and there is always a bad glare during daytime driving. The screen is bright enough to see the tuner controls.

Nice Product

I've been using it for several weeks now and it's really a good product. Price is very low and the quality of the product is pretty nice. Just to make sure this In Dash Player fits your vehicle nicely if you are planning to install it by yourself. It will not be easy for you to install it by yourself, and you might need to make some modification on your vehicle for the accessary of the player to make it fit like it belongs there. Jensen has pretty nice customer support at their website that you can figure out the wiring diagram of your vehicle, so you can connect the right wire of UV8020 to your vehicle if you don't use adapter.

Screen quality is very nice. It has 3 dimmers and brightness of the screen is bright enough to watch DVD during the day and dimmer works great that it doesn't bother your sight at night.

Sound quality is also great and pretty loud. By the way I installed this to Hyundai Entourage 07" Limited, and you will loss some features from installing this unit such as steering wheel control and A/C button lights for night time use. Overall, it's a great product and I recommend it for anyone

Good But Be Prepared

The unit took some major adjustments to fit in my 2000 Explorer but once I got it in I did not regret it one bit. The controls are awesome and easy to use touch screen is very responsive and user friendly. The menus look good. DVD picture is awesome! Sound quality is great! OVERALL an AMAZING product.

perfect for the price

works great. Pays dvds with clear picture and good sound. Looks kinda cheesy when you are in radio mode....but who cares. love the plug in on the front for playing my ipod.

Great Value

The screen is very nice and has some pretty cool features. I bought this for my 08 F-150 and it looks great. Definitely a great buy for the price.

Great Product, Few Bugs

I love this radio! it's easily the coolest thing I've bought in a long time, it just needs a few updates. The GUI (Graphical User Interface) is a bit out of date and annoying but easily forgotten. The only other problem I had was with the touch screen calibration. It just takes some fooling around and you'll figure it out.

Perfect double din budget dvd player

I've got this installed in our E150 for about 6 months now. This unit has not given me any trouble at all and plays very well.

I got another 26" LCD tv hooked up to it and routed the AV cables from the back of the head unit to a 26" LCD TV in the high top. The picture comes in very well and there is no fuzzy images or distortion during play time. The dvd player plays well AND has subtitles.

The eq is a little on the weak side along with the pre amp voltage. All was made up with a line driver before the sub amp.

Unfortunately, I have out grown this head unit and we are looking for something a little bit more feature rich ie. bluetooth, integrated iPod, high pre amp voltage, better eq settings and Navi.

All in all, the price is CRAZY and if all you are looking for is a simple in dash dvd player, then Sonic Electronix has this unit for you the absolute cheapest.
P.S... they included all wiring and brackets to install this unit!
can't beat this deal

Nice budget dvd player

Just recently installed this dvd player in my sister-in-law's 2002 Toyota Highlander. She just wanted a basic dvd player with no changeable screens or illumination.

Nice features:
Plays xvid, mpg, and jpeg files. It doesn't list xvid as a playable source but I put in a disc loaded with xvid movies and music videos and plays them fine. Dimmer button is great when driving at night.

Only problem so far is when fast forwarding a avi/mpg file you can't stop the fast forwarding by touching the screen. You have to hit the play button on the remote to stop it.
