PRETTY GOOD AMP

Bought this cheap ass amp for riding my 12" Kenwood 200watts rms Subwoofer. WOW!!! FOR THE PRICE YOU'LL GET WHAT YOU NEED!!! It is not getting that hot and also it is so small that you can put it in any place you want.

For the price, I think nothing can beat that amp!!!

Good amp for the price

I used this amp to drive the front speakers in my sons camaro. I mounted it where the factory Monsoon amp was located, but I had to first mount it to a piece of plywood. Works well. Good value for the price.

as a kid growing up i hated jensen products but now im taken back im pushing a single 12 kicker comp and i have to turn it down because the voice coil warms up a little to much and i only have 3/4 gain and still plenty to go jensen keep it up!!!!!!

Great sound, Great price!

The following review is for a previous version (Power-400).

This may seem like a cheap amp, but it packs some great sound! Low distortion, and lots of features. A great amp to run your mains

forgetable

The following review is for a previous version (Power-400).

i bought this amp about a month ago and had it hooked up to a kicker comp (12") heated up and maxed out in about 2 minutes of medium playing then it would over heat and the protect light would come on

Decent, when not put to the max

The following review is for a previous version (Power-400).

I have owned this amp for over 2 years and it has performed beautifully in 2 different cars now. The power level is all a normal person needs powering a single-sub with un-powered mains. Very satisfying mid-bass amplification for dub-step.

I had an issue when I first bought it where the protection would come on when listening to heavy bass, but I found fine-tuning the levels both improved sound quality (it removed distortion I didn't even notice) and totally eliminated the problem. The installers I used were hacks and tried to milk all they could out of it to make me think I bought something better than I did (don't try to max this thing out... it's touchy).

Eventually I will upgrade, but I'll probably just get one more of these guys and use it for my mains. Great product.

Good For The Money

The following review is for a previous version (Power-400).

For the money this amp does pretty good. It is pretty tough. It has been dropped a few times and still works like new. I eventually bought a new more powerful amp.

Powerful amp

The following review is for a previous version (Power-400).

I have one of these powering a 12 inch kicker sub, and it is very powerful. It puts out plenty of power and was easy to install. The only problem i have is that the protection keeps coming on, but it might just be the wiring. Overall, it is a good amp.
P.S. anyone who doesn't want to or can't wire the remote wire to the head unit, you can connect the remote turn on wire from the possitive terminal on the amp to the rem teminal and install a toggle swicth somewhere in the wire to turn it on and off, just dont forget to turn it off when the car is off or it will drain the battery.

strong amp

The following review is for a previous version (Power-400).

This is an ok amp. In terms of physical strength, its pretty strong! I accidentally ran over it while installing another amp in my car. Didn't even damage paint! sounds ok, good price.

BEEFY Heat Sinks

The following review is for a previous version (Power-400).

Wow... got package y'day. Weight is a bit heavier than you'd think it'd be. Quick look shows why, heat sinks appear to be quite dense! I can believe the other reviewer who said he ran one over in the driveway without breaking it. Birth sheet showed 75 RMS both sides.

Bought this to replace a 4ch amp I'm currently using in my MoTo. Running that amp w/ 2 4" speakers + JL6W3V3 proved to be just a lil too much for my MoTo electrical system without adding another battery. (Kept killing-off the battery) So I said screw that and took the sub back out.

I ordered this amp to ensure that my power draw is now lower. And also that other amp is a nice Eclipse EA4200 so I might put it in my wife's car to replace the SSL F4.1200 currently in there.
