Good buy!
Lots of talk about this amp overheating. I've never had mine overheat in nearly a year of abuse. I've even wired it @ 1 Ohm. sure it got warm, but it never went into thermal protect.
Bottom line, if you can tune this amp it wont give you any problems.

Jensen Power 900
I have had this amp for 6 months now and haven't had any problems whatsoever. It keeps my Infinity 1050W thumping very nicely. I have and have had several Jensen products in the past. Jensen is by far the best value for your money. I would recommend this product to anyone.

i have never really liked Jensen in the past but i heard from some buddies that they were good so i thought i would try it out. i hooked it up to 2 power acoustic 10's in my truck and boy did they beat up a storm
and the bass control knob is a great thing to have all and all i would recommend this to anyone looking for a great budget amp

can you say, OVERHEAT?
Definately don't recommend if you're gonna go over 500 watts with this thing, ive got it on a rockford fosgate 12" p3 and the thing will overheat in 15 minutes or less while DRIVING. That's just plain dumb, i know its an $85 amp but still for 85 bucks they coulda put a fan in it. It bumps the heck out of it for a little while but then it goes on protect. IT GETS HOT!!! no joke this thing burnt where i had it mounted in the back of my blazer. u can see the outline PERFECTLY. not cool. buy if u wana run less than 600, if ur tryin to get a decent amount of power, spend more money and get one with a fan. severely disappointed. love this site tho, great buys.

Cheap
Pro's - cheap, CEA 2006 rated numbers, Stays fairly cool for an a/b amp, remote with clipping indicating light.
Cons- It has an audible rattle at ~70Hz from the top part of the case... not sure if it is just mine or if they all do.
I have it mounted behind the panel above the rear tire, it ran for 3 hours straight into strong clipping when it was about 27C outside before it entered thermal protect. It's driving a cheap 400w boss sub, 8guage wiring kit with 50A fuse.

Don't Believe the Hype! eh heh heh heh
This amp is HORRIBLE. If youre looking for a quality amp that stays cool and gives you nice, clean, hard hitting bass this is definitely not the amp for you. this thing will scorch your hand after 30 minutes or so of listening to music, it puts out 300 watts rms of actual power (a 3rd of its peak), and it rattles somethin awful. I don't know what amp these other people are reviewing but i promise you, if youre looking for an amp with big bass that will power your speakers, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I bought this thing as part of a "bass package" and was told it "pounded". dont make the same mistake i did. if you just like a little bit of bass added to your music, this thing will be fine. if youre looking to get your trunk rattling this thing will disappoint you. pay an extra 100 and triple the RMS output of this thing and get something that has a fan and wont burn your fingerprints off.
