The cassette player lasted about 3 months. I am a painter and listen to books on tape. Maybe I treated it a little rough.

Great Buy
I would recommend this product because of it's ease of use and light weight. I looked for a long time to find one becasue I ahve tapes I wanted to play while I excercise. This is perfect!

defective product
I bought it and tried to listen to my cassette tape. Unfortunately it does not function , no matter how many battery changed. It is new unit. But I bought it cheap, I think I got what I paid for. I cannot use it. I wish the product was more functional.

Good tape player
Nice, inexpensive tape player. I use this to listen to an occasional tape that a music writing friend sends me. The player is connected to a computer so the music plays through the computer speakers. The player works very well for this purpose.

I purchased this portable cassette player to listen to books on cassette that I own and those I borrow from the library. I like that I can run off batteries and do not have to be in my vehicle or in my home to enjoy my books. Since there is no rewind feature I will have to be very careful not to miss anything.
